Yeah, it is...that's why I like it. But I'm never getting my headcanon romance. So all I can do is write a story! But Wrex's voice is just so manly that it starts to mix up with the other voices I remember at the top of my head....

I would never even attempt to write something like that. I dunno if I could express the emotion well enough, and part of the problem would be deciding on a LI.

Yeah I realized that after the mission was over. Hackett really pissed me off there, but I was on a roll, so I didn't want to go back and do it again. Plus I'd have to cheat in some paragon points.

 

It's really satisfying to see Hacket's face in disbelief when you tell him you made an agreement. Sitting through the entire conversation with Darius is going to be tough though, especially if you're playing renegade. That guy is quite a... character.

 

Luckily last time around, my Shepard (I think it was NangFa.. not sure) realized Hacket was just using him as excuse to murder, so he sat through it

I kinda agree and disagree with that. See I'm already in trouble, heh. On the one hand you have no source material but your imagination. On the other hand, you can pretty much go any way you want with it. Problem is nailing the character of the LI. Well, for me it would be anyway.

Hahaha! That meant two things....but yes, capturing the attitude and character is very hard. I was surprised the OP captured Wrex quite well. I'm sure that romance happened after Virmire...

I remember the abusive instructor, but not about Rhana as much. The first time I went through ME1, I romanced him...and I didn't want to do that...

The only way to get the Darius mission is if you have at least 80% of the Renagade bar filled, why on earth you would even go Paragon in that mission is beyond me. With the high amount of Renegade points needed to get the mission it's only logical that Hackett would expect you to kill Darius, I figured that out the minute Darius opened his mouth, so I did what was expected of me and killed him.

To troll Hackett who thinks Shepard can be used. If he wanted me to kill Darius, he should've told me so.

 

I unlocked the paragon alignment mission too in that game though, so it's not super logical that Shepard would go the renegade path

That's kinda how I went with it when I played through it, but Hackett still pissed me off the way he talked about it after, kinda "Thanks for cleaning up that dirty little potential problem in a way that the Alliance would in no way ever condone." I say, be upfront about it if you're gonna ask me to do this.
