In ME2 you get an email from him, angry that you're working with Cerberus. He promises to shoot first if he ever sees you. It's too bad we never do meet him.

Yeah, I am still pissed my Shepard is forced too join up with a terrorist group my Shepard despised due to you know that little tidbit. She's very loyal to her friends and consider her squad family. So it's like my Shepard's integrity was pissed on during that game. I blew the base up just too ****** him off more and just too see his face, when I told him to cut the bullshit. In my head cannon, I was calling him out the names of the 48 members of my squad he killed.
His shocked face during that last part is telling.
I just thought it would have been cool to have an encounter with Toombs and his merc band. Maybe a dialogue then a firefight, then a resolution as you're standing over Toombs, ready to help or shoot, depending on how you feel about him, heh.

"You're lucky. I wouldn't have shot you in the leg."
Shepard: You want to have sex in the middle of a combat simulator?
Jack: No! I want to make love.

So many good moments in this romance.Shepard: You want to have sex in the middle of a combat simulator?
Jack: No! I want to make love.
Wreave: But you're the one who improved the Genophage.
Mordin: True, but if wanted your species dead, could have sterilized you. Bloodless. Irreversible. EASY. Must be terrifying to have problem you can't defeat with shotgun. Fortunately, am here to help.
Wreav's dialogue always reminds me of folks who freak out over the Catalyst, just replace words like "Genophage" with "Reapers."

Man, I wish this kind of dialogue exists with Wrex, because it's really interesting.

How so?
Or were you just taking a cheap shot?

Wreav with Wrex in charge is kind of like Refuse: he will endanger the survival of his species by demanding retribution from the (perceived) enemy. And he's too proud work with the "enemy" -- too demeaning. Jorgal Thorak in Wreav's place (Wrex dead) will invoke the issue of "Trust"-nonsense as well, which is just as silly here as it is there -- he's in no position to bargain.
Wreav in-charge is kind of like folks who detest the Catalyst but work with him anyway. Obadiah posted what Wreav says back on the ship with Mordin. He's right. Mordin did allow for the genophage to continue when the krogan were overcoming it. He has their blood on his hands. Does that truly matter now, though? The answer is "no," and that's a bitter pill for Wreav to swallow: you want to save your people, then you don't get your "Justice"-nonsense. Wreav then goes on to glorify how he cured the genophage himself and hides the fact that he needed salarian support to do it, and I see people similarly re-imagine the ending expressly to diminish the Catalyst's involvement or twist it into some "Deception"-nonsense. Finally, Wreav in charge can lead Mordin to be convinced that the krogan are not ready as he thought they were and doom them to a continued genophage. The Catalyst can similarly give up on helping save this cycle for the actions of Shepard alone as their spokesperson.
It's easy for players to look at the krogan's attitude toward salarians and turians (and vice versa), or the quarians' to the geth (ditto), and say what fools they all are for not being willing to put differences aside and Work Together. Suddenly, that thing looks very different when you're the one asked to do the same.
Now I'm going to inevitably hear how this is different because Mordin didn't have Crucible-equivalent options to Wreav (So: cure the genophage but all of Clan Urdnot dies, control the genophage viruses, repurpose genophage viruses so krogan can only breed across clans and lose tribal factions), as if to say people would not hate and mistrust the Catalyst if we were given Reaper-only Destroy. We'll never know, but I rather doubt it -- maybe a little less, but not much. And -- ignoring everything that indicates the Catalyst is merely a catalyst to the Crucible options, and not, say, their controller -- say Mordin did give Wreav those options, would it justify all the racially-charged bias he clearly displayed towards Mordin before getting them? Doesn't make much sense to me.
"In the old days, we'd have just shot her. Good times."
"Quit slacking and get your ass up here!"
"Hell if I know. If you could do fine-tuning with biotics, maybe you could trip it with a mass effect field."
"Well, Shepard, you always did know how to make shore leave entertaining."

You mean that last one right? Cuz I could swear I've heard Wrex say those other lines.

Because squadmates are a priority before Wrex, Wrex never gets to say those lines during the Citadel DLC.
