Garrus: "Hospitals aren't fun to fight through."
Shepard: "What is fun to fight through?"
Garrus: "Gardens, electronic shops. Antique stores, but only if they're classy."
Shepard: Hiding behind a hostage Vasir. No stomach for a real fight, just like an Asari.
Vasir: Drop the thermal clips Shepard.
Shepard: You girls should really stick to dancing. You know. Play to your strength's.
Vasir: Drop the clips
Shepard: I'm gonna kill your hostage Vasir. And then I'll so you how a real Spectre gets things done.
Vasir: Your bluffing.
Would be made 2000% percent better if we then successfully obliterated her face from existence via bullets.
"The minute, the second I get out of her I'm going to take your head and mount it in the Normandy CIC. Then I'm going to mount her head next to yours. Then I'm going to take both your heads and space them out the airlock."
Javik: Finally! (the smile he has is priceless!)

I'd shoot the hostage and offer her Liara in exchange for working with the Broker if I could. I like Vasir. I hate the autodialogue with her.
And I'll keep the clone around. He got strung around too much. Brooks gets the bullet, while he gets to live.

No deal. The clone fucked with me. I don't care if he was manipulated. He wasn't mind controlled. He crossed the line. He dies. Brooks crossed the line. She dies.
Vasir crossed the line. And I. Can't. Finish her.
Even the endings don't cause as much rage anymore as that single thought.
I'm surprised at you though. Mr. "I kill anything that can't contribute", you have someone that actively blocks you from completing your mission and almost succeeds and you don't kill him?
I'm not sure if I have one favorite...
"Kneel before Javik"
"The name Shepard will mean hero"
"Have the asari ever won a war?"
I winced a little on hearing that second one, but the first and third are good.I'm not sure if I have one favorite...

I love that the Citadel DLC actually references this conversation if you take Garrus to retake the Normandy in dry dock, when he mentions that this is his favorite place for a firefight.
Garrus: One of my favorite places to fight.
Shepard: The CIC of a warship?
Garrus: Right there, above the gardens and below the electronics shops.
Shepard: And antique shops, if I recall.

Too bad that couldn't happen. I too like Vasir.

I kind of love every time Garrus says "Just like old times."

He has the potential to be a very useful asset. He has skills and prowess. More importantly, he's willing to do what he needs to do for his goals. I have need of an operative like him.
Brooks was too far up her own ass to be a useful asset. She dies.
Vasir is fine. I had nothing but praise for her.
So do we have to censor stuff now or what? Because it seems like people can just say whatever they want.

Having skill and prowess as well as being willing to do what one needs to accomplish goals is actually a very bad thing if this person's goals are completely incompatible with yours. The clone's goal is to replace you. That alone makes whatever potential this person has as an asset fly right out the window. Skills and prowess are useless at best and a serious liability at worst if it's more than likely that they'll be used against you.
If you were able to actually capture the clone, the only truly useful purpose that he/she could possibly guarantee would be to fake your own death, should the need present itself.
"The council can kiss my a**"
"Holy s***. She did it/Son of a *****. He did it"

Wow. Go ahead and have an aneurysm over that, why don't you.
You know how silly you sound? I'm imaging how someone like you would act at a traffic light. "He cut me off? HE DIES!!!!!"
Of course, the bleak reality is that this kind of behavior in video games is generally a result of long suppressed rage in real life.

More armchair psychology?
But I though you were a physicist, and a biologist, a video game maker, and a story writer....
You still haven't pulled this analysis crap on me... Is that because deep down you know that I'm right? Do you fear being wrong that much?
Javik from Thessia
"Before that you could only count as high as your toes. We took pity."
"Your species was deemed to have potential. A pity you didn't live up to it."
"There is more to our history than you know, asari"
"The answer is obvious. Power and influence. Your people are hoarding the knowledge of my own race for their own gain."
"You can't keep denying reality, asari."
"Or are you insulted that your government didn't involve you?"
"Or it could be the Prothean standing next to you"

I think he takes his own impotent rage and fear and weakness and insecurity and inflect it onto other users. His arrogant self-centeredness is matched only by his innate weakness in that regard.
He's not fooling anyone, but he's just trying to convince himself of his power over other people.
He's right, how can we be sure that CrutchCricket is not a complete psycho just waiting to suffer a mental breakdown before grabbing the nearest fireaxe and chopping off his' neighbour's legs?
Or you for that matter?
Or my self?
OR ANYONE ON BSN?!?
AHH! EVERYBODY IS OUT TO GET ME!
[runs to get the kitchen knife]

I don't think his goals are incompatible with mine. He wants a life, and he's definitely got a problem that the purpose of his existence was to be little more than a spare parts fleshbag for the real Shepard. I think the clone struggled to find a purpose, and wanted to take my life because it would give him the purpose he seeks. Combine that with some manipulation from Brooks about being created as the second-rate shadow of possibly the greatest being to ever live, and he's going to be a bit screwed in the head. I'd give him the chance to make his own purpose, to be his own person, and to make his own story. He looks like me, sounds like me, and might even think like me a bit, but he doesn't have to be me. Especially if he knew how much I sometimes hate being me. Like the Doctor, or Revan. He hates himself to some level, but he still is. He doesn't need that. He can move past that. He can make his own life to live and die for.
