I never understood that one.  I always figured Quarians would be squishy, not tough and scaly like Krogan or Turians.

Yeah, but I don't think anyone would mind if something better came along. Not that these pics are gonna be deemed "better" by everyone, heh, but at least the quarians look alien. When I found them I immediately thought of the Javik quote where he talks about quarians being considered attractive even in his cycle.

Well, I would see why Javik thought that they were an attractive species. They remind me of an alien race from something, perhaps a movie. I just can't really remember where.

Their skin is Dextro based, I believe since they're very related to Turians.

Woahhhhhhhh how interesting! Man, that makes me wonder if we'll get to see helmetless quarians in ME4!

Well if Quarians are dextro, like the turians, perhaps their skin is similar to turians (the fleshy areas, not the carapaces/plating). Turians are generally considered thick-skinned, so I guess quarians, too.

In this renegade shep playthrough of mine, I'm hearing all kinds of new dialogues. Probably old news to the renegades among us, but I'm enjoying this game. It's very different. With Tali dead already, she doesn't take over the geth dreadnought dialogues. Xen has far fewer lines. But I liked it because it allowed me to take EDI and James along. I don't remember how it goes exactly, but there's a scene where James mentions the construction of the ship being all "wrong". Normally I hear that line from Garrus, but he's also dead. Anyway, EDI says she finds the design comforting and assumed everybody else did as well. It was cool. I also haven't encouraged a relationship between her and Joker, and I'm finding that I like her character quite a bit.
