Yeah, but unused, obviously:

It would be interesting how the trilogy would of played out had they both survived Virmire.

Warlord Okeer: "But before Saren can deliver his endless troops, in rides Shepard, securing victory through nuclear fire. I like that part. It has weight!"

This recapitulation is about the best part of the entire mission!

If only we could recruit Okeer, fights between him and Mordin would be epic!

Second to that (Rana Thanoptis):

"Now if you don't mind I'll start to run like hell, before you blow the place. I know how you work..."

It would have. And I wonder what that "stunt" of Shepard's was. ME3 would have been much, much more interesting with both of them alive. It's possible to have them alive, but it screws up save's ability to render both of them at the same time on the Normandy. All in all, whatever ME3 was before the final script, was way more interesting. I don't car if Catalyst kid is in there, I just wanted a good priority: Earth.

I always thought it was curious that Rana Thanoptis couldn't be killed in ME2. Like, here she is again, working in some crazy krogan-cloning lab.

Anyhoo...

Shepard: If I know Grunt, your answer is coming at muzzle velocity.

Grunt: You do know Grunt. This varren is dead!

And the post-LM dialogue.

Grunt: We'd better not run out of enemies.

Shepard: No danger of that. They're practically lining up.

Grunt: Everyone gets a turn! Ha! Wouldn't have it any other way.

Lol! I'm never motivated to play ME1 at all for some reason. The controls are a butthurt on PC, and because Thresher Maws popping out of the ground scaring me half to death, and the Mako's turret just doesn't have a button, it makes me want to play through ME1 even less.

I don't follow the italed. Why would the turret have a button, and what would it do?

Whatever ME3 was? The alternate dialogue was from ME1, back before Bio decided to really kill someone at Virmire.

Yeah, that's the dialogue path I prefer for two of my three Shepards.

Neutral option, too, and a bit surprising considering the text you select to activate it.

I should have put it in another paragraph. Whatever I implied at the end of my paragraph was not meant to connect with the option of both VS surviving.

I don't even see what it's doing in the thread, let alone that paragraph.

"Ever think about what happened with your father?"

"Haunts me, more like?"

There's other variations, but Gibbed is required to hear more, 'cause ME3 does not flag an outcome, only that the mission was done, therefore, it's a bug.

If only Jacob were worth the effort...  :P

LOLOL! If only, yes. But I always make sure to pick an outcome, because I hate bugs(literally too).

I just spacebar through Jacob's conversations in ME3 now. The only thing I like about him is his arcade trash-talking in the citadel DLC.

Unless you romanced him just to slap him, and then that compensates for the entire trash-talking. :-)

My Jacob romance didn't last until ME3... nor did Jacob, for that matter.

Well, Jacob did kind of see it coming. It was a heavy risk, after all.

That's a hell of a gamble. No other options?

Brynn would make sure you didn't leave off of Arrae alive. :)

No way is Shepard going to be taken out by some measly scientist after leaving legions of dead in her wake.

Kenson almost did, but she was a stupid old b*tch! I was glad I took that Renegade action.

Kenson couldn't even handle Shepard while having the drop on her, and she destroyed wave after wave of enemies. I guess it was a good thing that Object Rho made them all too stupid to bother to kill Shepard after the thing finally knocked her out. I kinda wish there was a clear reason why they were so adamant about [occasionally] taking Shepard alive.

Isn't that like the flaw with all of the villains in any story? They talk too much!
