Why couldn't the councillor talk with the Matriarchs about Shepard helping unite the species to fight the reapers and that she/he is constructing a massive weapon that may stop the reapers. Maybe the Matriarchs would've revealed the beacon earlier. Isn't it the Matriarchs that decide to send their fleets to help Shepard and not the councillor's. Makes me wonder why there is a council at all?

I always assumed that the councilor of each species is simply there to be a representative on the Citadel, while the rest of the governing body remains on their home world. It would make sense. I wouldn't put the leadership of an entire world on that station. In any case, this just goes to the portrayal of politicians in the MEU. They're generally ineffectual, and the ones that aren't tend to hate politics.

Shepard:"I can't help you Sidonis"

Sidonis:"No more sleepless nights"

Garrus:"For either of us Sidonis"

*Sidonis turns to Shepard*

Sidonis:"Thank you"

*BOOM headshot*

Javik:"We were here in the beginning, watching you grow. Athame, was us."

David:"Square root of 912.04 is 30.2...it all seemed harmless..."

"This one is the hero of the Citadel. This one has an incendiary projectile with the counselor's name on it..."

"No, this one is the hero of the Citadel. I'll handle it."

"This one insists."

"This one doesn't care."

Especially with ManShep, as Mark Meer voices the Hanar as well and so you have Mark Meer arguing with Mark Meer over who is the real hero. xD Though Blasto in general is hilarious by nature.

Also, not exactly a line, but when Shepard headbutts the Krogan in Grunt's loyalty mission. This one especially with FemShep. Watch the big bad Krogan get dominate-headbutted by a tiny human female. xD

The shaman's response makes that scene much more gratifying.

"I like this human. She understands!"

He has the potential to be a very useful asset. He has skills and prowess. More importantly, he's willing to do what he needs to do for his goals. I have need of an operative like him.

Brooks was too far up her own ass to be a useful asset. She dies.

Vasir is fine. I had nothing but praise for her.

As has been mentioned, his goal was wiping you out. And it sure didn't seem like he'd take up the reigns after your demise. Someone that ignores the Reapers just because "wah I'm a clone I want to be a real boy" does not have the proper mindset to contribute.

Now if ME had the tech to wipe minds and you were able to "reprogram" him, sure. But while we're at it, we might as well wish for a Death Star.

Vasir is not fine unless she's in a meat grinder. Literally. Soylent Blue is asari.

Wow. Go ahead and have an aneurysm over that, why don't you.

You know how silly you sound? I'm imaging how someone like you would act at a traffic light. "He cut me off? HE DIES!!!!!"

Of course, the bleak reality is that this kind of behavior in video games is generally a result of long suppressed rage in real life.

On the other hand being a dick on forums is instantaneous. Congratulations.

I think his goal was manipulated and twisted into being that by Brooks. She's been dealt with. I think I can convince this clone to help me fight the Reapers if I could get him to listen. I don't really expect him to understand the threat of the Reapers. That can be rectified. Who knows how Brooks kept him cooped up, unexposed to the outside universe, manipulating him with whatever story he wanted too? And then seeing all of that sullied. I think he deserves a chance to contribute in some way and make his own story.

Honestly, your dislike of Vasir borders on irrational. She's better than several squadmates IMO.

"So about that fish tank you fell through...Now I’ve got a story to tell the family when they meet you for the first time. Always helps to break the ice with turian in-laws" - Garrus Vakarian

I must have got the bugged dialogue for this...dammit <_< . I figured the way Garrus kept talking about settling down and having kids with femshep they were on their way to marriage ("in-laws" LOL I wonder what Solana will think let alone dad Vakarian of daughter-in-law Shep). Maybe with femshep+garrus imports into ME4 there will be special mention of a high ranking military officials from both species marriage and human+turian alliance, at least I hope we are allied with turians...I really hope we aren't strangers or enemies.

Irrelevant. Manipulated =/= mind controlled. If he wasn't strong enough or smart enough to break past that he's useless to me. And if his brainwashing is as complete as you say, again he's useless to me. You won't break him of that in any reasonable period of time and you don't have the time to waste. How do you not understand the threat of the Reapers? Anyone that isn't literally in a sensory depravation tank or in stasis understands the threat of the Reapers. If they don't again, they're useless. Finally, as I said he crossed the line. When he went against me he had one chance- to beat me. Then he would've proved the stronger and could do as he pleased. He couldn't cut it and he was on the wrong side. Tough break. He dies.

So is Saren and technically (according to lore anyway) Kai Leng. So is the Yahg or hell Sovereign for that matter. That doesn't mean I extend them invitations. They all stand against me and they all die. Except for Vasir who has the audacity to lecture me and to not shut up when I should be ventilating her face into oblivion.

Just got this gem last night….

Tali:  You know, I've taken care of myself for the past few years.

Wrex:  I know.  I'm old and I worry, even though my favorite quarian's all grown up and killing reapers.

Tali:  You're like the crazy head-butting uncle I never had.

It was pretty clear to me that the clone's own sense of self worth was now tied to Shepard's existence. Why else would he allow himself to die? It doesn't matter at that point if he was manipulated by Brooks, by what means or for how long. The damage was already done. Death was apparently preferable to being the "pale imitation", and so long as Shepard is alive, that's exactly what he'd be. If you were able to capture him and confine him until he can be reeducated or conditioned or whatever, I suppose that would be a different story, but he made his decision and that's all that really counts in the end.

Different strokes for different folks, but Vasir didn't seem like a whole lot more than any other random asari mook from ME2, just with longer screen time and a phony cover. Her most defining attribute in the end was her ability to use biotic charge. When I first played LotSB, I was fully expecting her to either be killed by an agent of the Shadow Broker, or be that agent herself. Of course, I was also expecting her to be a temporary squad mate after the apartment scene.

It's bugged, but it can be unbugged by talking to Garrus. When he's still talking, pause and save the game. Load the save and then talk to him again and then this dialogue will initiate instead of the non-romance dialogue.

I doubt I remember many of them word-for-word, but here goes (leaving out some that I've already seen mentioned here):

Harbinger: "Human, you have changed nothing. Your species has the attention of those infinitely your greater. That which you know as Reapers are your salvation through destruction."

From Shepard's speeches:

- "For too long our species stood apart from the others..." version (ME1, taking command of the Normandy)

- "...and yes, I remember them all. Everyone in the Fifth Fleet is a hero. The Alliance owes them all medals. The Council owes them a whole lot more. And so do you." (with Al-Jilani, ME2)

- The "Not one more" version before boarding the Collector base (ME2)

Sparatus: "How many generations do you suppose it will be before the rachni attack us again?"
Shepard: "Three? No - four."

(It's a chance for Paragon Shepard to be sarcastic, and answering a rhetorical question literally is one of my favorite forms of humor. Speaking of which....)

Wrex: "So, Tali, do your people ever talk about creating the geth and getting yourselves driven off your homeworld?"
Tali: "Do your people ever talk about starting a foolish war with the turians and nearly being sterilized as a result?"
Wrex: "All the time."

Mordin: "Might retire to a beach somewhere, look at sea shells."

Shepard: "You'd go crazy within a week."
Mordin: "Might run tests on sea shells."

Eve's speech on Tuchanka

Tali: "Legion, the answer to your question was yes."
Legion: "I know, Tali, but thank you. Keelah se'lai."

If the cipher was needed for Thessia, how is it possible for the squadmates to understand Vendetta?

The Cipher got retconned out of existence by the Genesis comic. Like Kaiser said, canon in the MEU is a zany free-for-all.

Oh, and the beacon on Mars? We're only seeing the top of it. How large it is we don't know because it isn't shown. Every race is about at the same level of technology.

What is it with you and the word "silly"? You seem to have a very small vocabulary. Not an insult, just an observation. So many of your troll-bait posts start off by calling someone silly. It seems a little strange.
