LOL! I did add some more dialogue into the scene, because I was still editing it after you quoted it. Lol!

You could use the Save Editor to flag some people out of the squad so that you head to the Collector Base with very few people.

I think if I'm gonna do a playthrough like that, I want to actually play it. It'll be new to me. I figure I'll have 8 non-loyal squadmates, no ship upgrades and a collector base to get through. Like the dread pirate Roberts says, "There will be no survivors."

Well, I usually make two saves right before the Collector Base. One is my actual save, while the other is one I can screw around with.

Or you could just cheat it completely, and not even bother with a new save and just go there like I did. I did post this in the what did you do today in the trilogy thread. Not sure if you saw it. But if you scroll up before my MaleShep and Garrus romance post, you'll see a screenshot.

Yeah, but I want to play through the suicide mission and see everybody die... errr, in a solely curious and non-morbid way. I've never played it before.

EDIT: Yeah, I did see that screenie. It's an option :)

I find flagging them using Save Editor is the easiest in certain cases. Also, if you only have two squadmates by the end, you can hear Miranda's hidden dialogue before setting out to fight the Human proto-reaper.

I'll see how it goes when I get there, It's a long ways off, unless I interrupt my current playthrough. Any ideas what a non-import default shep is like in ME2?

Well, a lot of the things in ME1 won't be there. Wrex is dead, Rachni Queen is dead, and your gender will determine which Virmire survivor lived. You can use your ME1 imports. It's a lot easier. Or you can download some from masseffectsaves.com.

:D The best. My favorite pre-party meet-up.

EDIT: To clarify, favorite after the LI meet-up, heh.

I actually prefer this version of the "Bail Grunt from C-Sec," besides the one where you have to make him apologize, although, the paragon one does make FemShep sound very motherly... :) <3

Operation Fire Cobra Claw. :D So much better than "I'll take responsibility under spectre authority," or some other crap.

EDIT: Oops.

Making Grunt apologize is absolutely adorable, and then ending that with paying for the damages.

EDIT: You forgot "Cobra."

Really? That kinda sucks. I'm glad that I don't believe in this non-import or genesis comic crapola.

Grunt sounds so disappointed when he says, "...and I won't do it again."

Lol! I believe PS3 players had to suffer this before Mass Effect: Genesis 1 came out on PS3 due to the complaints of a dead Wrex and all that stuff. I didn't have to suffer it since I started ME2 in the Fall of 2012. Of course, Mass Effect Trilogy wasn't available then until 3 months later.

He pretty much does. But that's why FemShep is the only woman who can make a krogan apologize, and also, she's motherly with Grunt. Because BioWare took out some unused scenarios in ME2, those scenarios would have made Grunt sound like another squadmate, but because they didn't add those scenarios it's like they were trying to encourage that Shepard is Grunt's adopted parent. And that is true as well.

Yeah I benefited greatly by being a latecomer to the series. Heck I didn't get the games until early last year, about the time the Citadel DLC was released.

Ha! I do have Genesis 1 and 2 on PS3. None on PC, but that's what Save Editor is there for. Genesis is good if you don't care about the other small stuff in the previous games, although, Genesis 2 has worst decisions since the ME2 decisions are crappy, but there are alternative dialogues that Genesis does give.

"About time you got here, Shepard. Didn't want to win this thing all by myself."

"Good to see you back in action, Grunt."

"Wouldn't miss it. Shepard..."

"Yeah?"

"It's been an honor to serve with you."

"The honor's mine, Grunt."

"Okay. Grunt out."

Bakara: "It's just a pity Mordin had to die."

Shepard: "He told me he had to do it. Someone else might have gotten it wrong."

Bakara: "He got it right. For everyone."

Wrex: "A thousand years from now, we'll probably be singing songs about him." *laughs*

Shepard: *slight smile* "I'm sure he'd like that."

Thane: “Kalahira, mistress of inscrutable depths, I ask forgiveness. Kalahira, whose waves wear down stone and sand.." *coughs, can't continue*

Kolyat: Kalahira, wash the sins from this one, and set him on the distant shore of the infinite spirit.”

Thane: "Kolyat.. You speak as the priests do. You've been spending time with them." *smiles*

Kolyat: *nods* "Commander, I brought a prayer book. Would you like to join?"

Shepard: *nods*

Kolyat: "Kalahira, this one's heart is pure, but beset by wickedness and contention."

Shepard: "Guide this one to where the traveller never tires, the lover never leaves, the hungry never starve. Guide this one, Kalahira, and she will be a companion to you as she was to me.”

Shepard: "Kolyat? Why did the last verse say 'she'?"

Kolyat: "The prayer was not for him, commander. He has already asked forgiveness for the lives he has taken. His wish was for you."

Mordin's death broke my heart as well. Really, they couldn't kill off Jacob or someone I wasn't particularly fond of instead.

My femshep didn't even romance Thane (although she was strongly tempted to, she was staying loyal to Kaidan) and this and the videos broke me up. Next run, Thane will definitely be romanced even if Kaidan gets mad about it!

I didn't like Thane in ME2, but that scene changed everything.

I didn't romance him either, but I liked the friendship and mutual respect he and Shepard developed. This was one of my favourite scenes.

1. Thane: "I am always with you, siha."

Best line, said by the best character in the best DLC, IMO. I'd pick that scene as the best scene in ME3.

(Every Thane line is my favorite line).

2. Mordin: "Would've liked to run tests on the sea shells"

    Shepard: "I'm sorry"

Mordin: "I'm not. Had to be me. Someone else might have gotten it wrong"

3. Tali: "Legion...the answer to your question was yes"

Legion: "I know Tali. But thank you, Keelah se'lai"

4. Sovereign: "........Our numbers will darken the sky of every world.....This exchange is over". That entire conversation was fantastic!

Depending on what you do , you can recruit all 12 squadmates and have them dead along with Shepard.

Or you can do a playthrough and Joker is the only one left on the ship at the end and recruit only 11.

Well, I figure it's going to be a quick run, since it'll be all about getting to the collector base with everyone in a position to be killed. So...recruit missions, plot missions and as few side missions as I have to.
