I do enjoy how it's one of those rare instances when a paragon interrupt is the one that ends in threats of violence and death, though there's the paragon-persuasion dialogue with Harrot in ME2 where you can threaten to break his legs if he doesn't release the quarian from his obligation.

Sometimes, the roles of both alignments are quite reversed, but I think it's the morality of it that counts or how justifiable the action is. Of course, sometimes it's just a do or don't do kind of situation.

I remember that thread. Regarding Gavin Archer, I would simply have shot him rather than pistol-whipped him. Hell, unlike Ethan Jeong, Archer actually got a shot off at Shepard. Shooting at a soldier, and missing, is a very good way to get yourself killed.

Hell, in my last game both Wrex and Ash found out that just pointing a gun at shep was enough to get themselves killed.

"Back on Sur'Kesh, it looked like the female krogan could hold her own."
"Our females don't lack for spirit. For males, a good show of force usually sorts things out. But women like to talk about... then, think about it... [sighs] ...then talk about it some more... no offence.
"Believe it or not, we sometimes have good ideas, Wrex. You should try listening."
"Yeah, but our women have so many of them... so sometimes I pretend to listen, and... well, let's just say Krogan Females have tempers too."

After Jacob welcomes her on to the Normandy, Samara says, "Thank you. From an organization such as yours, that is high praise."
Uhh, Cerberus?
Probably because Cerberus is a pro-human organization and they are pretty well known.

Hmmm... maybe you're right. But worthy of Samara's respect, based on their notoriety? I dunno.

She might not agree with everything they do, but she'll respect their goal in advancing the human race, I think.

What, by trying to get as many of them killed as possible and killing off their brightest minds when they have outlived their usefulness?

If in general, I think they started doing that in Mass Effect 3 or it just became very apparent that they actually did kill off individuals after they become unuseful to them.

Either she said it to be nice, or she really meant it. I don't think she judges unless her code demands her to do so.
