You replace "Vasir" with "Liara" and you sum up half the people on this board.

 

Seriously, where the hell is the Vasir love coming from? Her circular logic is almost as bad as the friggin' Catalyst.

If the Shadow Broker's goon squad was anything approaching subtle she might have had a case for her little rant against Shepard but she lost the moral highground when she willingly assisted in bombing a building.

Vasir believes in killing 100 people today, to keep the intel that will potentially save thousands/millions later.  Thats ruthless renegade calculus, but understandable even if morally wrong.  The Catalyst believes in killing everyone with HIS synthetic doombots today to prevent them from being killed by their own synthetic doombots tomorrow, that's circular logic.

Everything from Saren and Shepard's conversations. Those were the best dialogues I've seen in any game. The whole thing felt very real, two people trying to convince each other (and themselves, in Saren's case) that the path they've chosen is the right one. It would probably be easier to just post a youtube video, but I'll choose a couple lines. 

 

Saren: My mind is still my own... for now. But the transformation from ally to servant can be subtle. I will not let it happen to me. 

Shepard: Sovereign's manipulating you and you don't even know it! You're already under its power! 

Saren: No! Sovereign needs me. If I find the Conduit, I've been promised a reprieve from the inevitable. This is my only hope. 

Shepard: Together we can stop Sovereign. We don't have to submit to the Reapers. We can beat them! 

 

Also, Sovereign's entire speech on Virmire, but especially these lines - 

 

"You exist because we allow it. And you will end because we demand it." 

"Our numbers will darken the skies of every world." 

"Your words are as empty as your future. I am the vanguard of your destruction. This exchange is over."

Well, that turned out to be a wall of text. And I had to narrow it down a lot. There are so many other great quotes in this thread too. Okay, just one more that made me laugh because it's so fitting for my first Shepard.

I like the guard who is preventing access to the vehicle bay on Noveria. She only really has one real line to say "yes, that looks in order" but made me wonder what ever happened to her, did she know who the she was talking to? Would she go and tell her family that she had met Shepard? Did she die during the war? Who knows..

Not an amusing line, but the one that always sticks out in my mind is Joker's "Damn it" when Hackett orders the retreat to the rendezvous point at the end of ME3. On first play through, having exploded the tube at point blank for the destroy ending, I still held out faint hope that I might get rescued. That line all but confirmed that I was royally f**ked. If the Normandy's bugging out then no one's coming for me.....

Do you remember her original plan? Assassinating Liara in her apartment. It's just when Shepard got involved that she switched to plans that would result in massive collateral damage.

There was another when she asked him why he would give the evidence to Lorik without talking with her first, and he said it was because he just didn't like her. So perfect for the Shepard I was playing.

Playing through it again lets me reaffirm my beliefs that Noveria is the best and also that Wrex is the best

Now that I think about it, Noveria is comedy gold.
