^ I never realized how many times Wrex threatened to eat people on Noveria!
After I watched that video, there was a link to another one of Wrex telling Lorik, "They're fools. You should eat them."
Now that I think about it, Noveria is comedy gold.
Yeah Wrex has the best commentary on Noveria. The only reason I don't bring him most of the time is because I metagame around Garrus' comment in ME3 about accompanying Shepard to Noveria, Feros and Ilos.

James Vega (after killing a phantom on Cronos Station): Take that you flippy little b***h!
After fighting them at various points in this insanity run, I completely endorse that statement.

I love that cook/maintenance man on the SR2.

Ya, Phantoms certainly are the most difficult thing in this game. The part I hate the most is when they go invisible when you're shooting at them and they're down to low health so you think they died. Only to have them run up and stab you 30 seconds later from out of no where.

It would've been nice to have him on the Normandy in ME3. I miss his calamari gumbo.

Indeed.
Although my vote for most difficult are the three primes on Rannoch just before you wake the reaper. Not even multiple banshees and brutes during priority earth were as bad as those three.

That really caught me off-guard. On casual difficulty the laser beam doesn't follow you, it just shoots in a straight line, so you can run a little bit, stop, face the reaper and start aiming at it again pretty quickly. When I did my first insanity run just recently, I was like, "Holy Crap, I'm gonna die!"... then I kept running.

I know right who ever thought that fight was a good idea needs to be feathered and Tar .
I dunno, it was a lot more satisfying to kill it knowing I could die and have to start over at any second. And come on, you killed a reaper on foot. Think of all the mating requests* you're gonna get from the quarians for that ![]()

"Shepard? But... you're dead"
"I got better."
That has got to be one of the most bad ass lines in the entire trilogy.
It is, along with the line I started this topic with ![]()

From ME1 on Noveria:
ERCS Guard: You're bluffing.
Wrex: You're right. They're actually going to let me eat you.
Of course, "They're fools. You should eat them." when talking to Lorik is still better.

Ashley: Why is it whenever someone says "with all due respect", they really mean "kiss my ass"?
She says the same thing to Shepard during the evacuation scene in front of the beam.

Yeah Wrex has the best commentary on Noveria. The only reason I don't bring him most of the time is because I metagame around Garrus' comment in ME3 about accompanying Shepard to Noveria, Feros and Ilos.
I think one of my Shepards (the one I'm replaying now) did bring Garrus to Noveria at first, but then switched to Wrex by the time he started doing a whole bunch of illegal stuff like smuggling packages and stealing info from Lorik's office.
The real reason I played it like that was because I wanted Tali to talk Shepard out of killing the rachni queen, but with Garrus along she had the Renegade dialogue, so I had to go back and switch him out for Wrex. Not sure yet if I'll play it the same way this time, although Wrex did have another great comment when he let the rachni queen go.

I still got a game over on Casual. I didn't think the beam would actually hit Shepard, so I wasn't trying to dodge it. *facepalm*

Some cool lines I've seen recently during my latest ME1 replay. The quotes are from memory, so the wording might be a little off.
Shepard: I can be discreet.
Turian Councillor: You detonated nuclear weapons on Virmire - I wouldn't call that discreet.
(He's totally right about this Shepard, by the way. Same one who likes to bludgeon through bureaucracy.)
Shepard: Nobody stabs me in the back, Udina. Nobody.
(And after being metaphorically stabbed in the back, he got Anderson to literally punch Udina in the face.)
Shepard: Everyone thinks I'm crazy.
Wrex: Sometimes crazy is the best way to go.
