Nothing major but, im curious is it possible to make James go up and check on edi rather than Liara?  

 

Kinda like having liara along for the priority missions idk why. 

 

but its annoying me I hate James more than liara haha and I cant bring javik fml so is there any way to make james to back to the ship instead of liara?

No. Though I think it's possible to have Liara and James if Garrus is dead.

 

Not sure though, never did it.

Im pretty sure its scripted so that Liara always goes back.

Yes, if Garrus didn't survive ME2, then Liara stays on Menae and no one returns to the Normandy.

Yeah, it only goes:

 

Liara+James --> Garrus+James

or

Liara+James --> Liara+James (Garrus has to be dead from ME2)
