A ladder, turned upside-down, can be used for climbing down off things.

sounds like it is you who needs to know your place.
I can vouch that boogie is a great player, and I imagine that similarly to me, he only doesn't play plat because there are so many bad pugs resulting in many solo waves, which IMO is not fun. Where as in gold, regardless of how bad the pugs may be, you'll only have to solo a few waves at max, and it's nowhere near as much effort as soloing plat.
My last ever pug plat resulted in me soloing 9 out of 11 waves collectors playing with 3 pugs. Never again.
