LOL. I'm assuming you meant that as "Fallout 3 is not an RPG", well that is true.

Rpg-7.jpg

^This is an RPG. They are very common in games like Call of Duty.

Jesus Christ it's like you WANT to be casual. Real RPGs are not even played. You imagine yourself roleplaying the rpg. That way you can fit any role

Why are you letting Sylvius post under your account?

Is this thread about what we would like to see in a new Fallout game according to our pie in the sky dreams, or something that we logically think will be included?

Because if we could have anything we wanted, I would want the option to play as multiple PC types as well as include a limited form of multiplayer. By PC types I am not just talking about a human or a ghoul; I would like to be able to play as a Super Mutant, a Robot, or a mutated animal (preferably a giant ant). As for multiplayer, I am not talking about a 5 on 5 competitive shooter, or an MMO with thousands of wastlanders running around; at most I would want 3-4 players co-operatively playing through the game with one as the host-hero, and the others as companions.

If we are talking about things that are logically possible, then I would like to see multiple player options in at least being able to play as a human or Ghoul, and for more customization and modification available for weapons and armor.

Actually, 1 thing i preferred in FO3 is that the capital wasteland wasn't infested by these annoying bastards:

I hope FO4 has 0 Cazador appearances

Fallout 3 was infested with super mutants with giant guns instead! :P

Super Mutants don't have poison tho. And I actually like the Cazador's, its fun to have enemies that you are afraid of.

Id take super mutants instead of cazador's, the only enemie in FO3 that i found as annoying as cazador's were those fire breathing ants but they were at least restricted to 1 area unlike the demon wasps from hell :?

At least most Cazador encounters register that tell tale signature on your radar, and you can avoid them for the most part.

Not so much with a swarming pile of Night Stalkers.

I always loved it in New Vegas when I hit level ~18 and I could go Deathclaw hunting. YCS/186, meet Deathclaw Alpha. Deathclaw Alpha, meet YCS/186!

I dunno. Can't say I found cazadores that scary at higher levels. I suppose they are if you go with guns or energy weapons. I prefer unarmed with greased lightning as my power fist of choice. You can drop them in VATS pretty damn fast going that route.

As for what I would like to see in FO4? An expanded melee combat system. I liked how Obsidian did more with unarmed by giving your character opportunities to learn special moves. Expanding on that would nice, but giving melee the same treatment would be even better. I found melee somewhat bland compared to unarmed. All you did was slash and bash with whatever was in hand.

Also making melee/unarmed attacks from stealth a bit less cumbersome to use would be nice.

I just like the aesthetics of them, maybe I'm just naturally afraid giant stinging insects (well, no maybe about it). And speaking of beating down ferocious enemies, knocking deathclaw on there asses with the Blade of the East never gets old. Haha.

Oh, don't get me wrong, they're gross as hell. I hate all those giant bugs. Radroaches make my skin crawl. If I was stuck in the situation that ghoul was eating rad roach meat, I'd rather die. XD

I just meant cazadores aren't scary to me from a combat perspective.

True enough. And to be fair, there isn't really anything all that intimidating at higher levels from a purely combat perspective. Well except for explosive slave collars, god I hated that thing.

What about explosive slave collars, poisonous gas and deadly unkillable holograms combined?

LOL. The only things I remember about Dead Money is Christine and my head exploding. And those gold bars were a waste of effort with how much they were worth compared to have heavy they were.

Well the game does not exaggerate.

Gold bars are heavy.

Yep. Gold is heavier than lead.

So, if you're planning on robbing Fort Knox forget it.

You wouldn't have realised this because Gold rings are really tiny.

Most gold rings aren't even pure gold.

But even the pure gold rings will have you believe that gold is lighter than it actually is.

Anyway. I don't mind the explosive collars and unkillable holograms as long as they're consigned to a side mission or DLC mission.

I've been to a couple wedding at Fort Knox. It's weird to be drinking and dancing the Cha Cha slide less than a mile from the target of a Bond film heist.
