Fallout isn't the place for romance.

That universe is so dark and fucked up that romance simply doesn't fit.

I don't know what's siller; the concept that darker settings can't have romance in them, or the idea that Fallout is all that dark of a setting in the first place. I even remember there being a Disney-esque "love at first sight" quest in New Vegas in which I helped get the couple together.

That said, I don't really care either way if they were to add romance in the next game or not.

Romances are not for games but for real life.

I cannot believe someone just said this on a Bioware forum. :P

Chief Hanlon had the best voice actor in the game. Kris K. Easily one of my favorite characters in NV with an ethical dilemma attached just for fun.

I'll take more Hanlon in the next game...assuming you ghouls didn't kill him off!

Fallout is serious business. That's why we have the Wild Wasteland perk.

BSN Alternative!

The Disney-esque romance quest is between a Boomer guy and a Caravan girl.

Yea, if I'm looking for that, you can be sure I'm not looking to video games.  LOL

The obsession with it is has provided a lot of comedy though, gotta say that.

Anyway, I would like to see more primitive weaponry like the spears in NV and visual visors.

I'd like to dual wield swords for close ranged then use a bow for long ranged combat. :wizard:

Heh.

I'm thinking more on the lines of crafting crossbows from the steel and wires of destroyed cars that can upgraded with microfusion cells and be used to fire Nuka-grenades or bolts with a hacking module that you can use to take control of turrets or protectrons (temporarily ) provided you hit their IFF.

You can't dual wield in that game.

And how dare you recommend Oblivion and not Morrowind?!

Because Oblivion is the same engine/graphics of FNV.

They look and play differently, though

Unless you don't discount the numerous graphical enhancement mods.

I'd like to take it a step further, let's have a perk that allows us to either rig cars to explode or remove the reactor for later use.

And craft Deathclaw Leather Armour.

better shooting mechanics

more realistic weapons (well realistic for plasma rifle anyways)

more RPG elements for the game BUT LESS for the combat, I don't want to throw 50 grenades at a rad scorpion to see his health drop 10% cause my explosive tree is 10/100 : /

Definitely dual wielding. Preferably with more options that just the same type weapon as well. In addition to just being able to wield a pair of 9mm's or combat knives, being able to double up with a Sequoia and a Bowie Knife, or any combination of one handed weapons, would be pure win.
