Thing is, most Enclave patrols kill Wastelanders/"muties" on sight.
So, still stupid evil.
Even the Enclave needs deep cover operatives, hitmen, and saboteurs to easily blend with the locals.

News.
By news do you mean a radio host telling you what's going on, like Three Dog?
Or do you mean Bethesda showing screenshots, a few trailers and giving vague information on Fallout 4 (like what Bioware's currently doing with Dragon Age Inquisition)?

Hopefully both.
IDK about you guys but I love hearing about my feats.

I would be happy if it was on a stable game engine.

Who would be stupid enough to trust them on their word of power/money?
At this point, I think they're done for. I'd rather have a new Master rise up and form an army of mutants to make good "villains".

They weren't. It was made pretty clear that the Enclave had the Brotherhood beat in terms of technology and manpower and the only edge the Brotherhood had was Liberty Prime (See how that went).
I think the Enclave-Brotherhood conflict could have been much more interesting if the Enclave hadn't been stupid evil.
If they weren't stupid evil, they wouldn't be the Enclave. They've been that way since Fallout 2.

I think having your major bases blown up along with most of your staff slaughtered ought to teach you a lesson.

Now that I've learned the GECK over the past couple of months; I really would like a more stable toolkit that doesn't freeze at closing every time you open NavMesh, or every other time you enter anything in the Object Window. (That latter normally works itself out, but still...we should be able to do better, especially since its going to be "some time" until FO Next is even announced).
Honestly, I'm just grateful to have a functioning toolkit, so let's at least maintain that in the next iteration; as I'm sure they will.

More content on the radio stations in general and the ability to add tracks of your own without mods. GTA had this ages ago, can't remember if it was Vice City or even 3 where you basically could just drag the mp3's you wanted into a folder in the game directory and the game would recognize them without any further steps required.

NEW FACTIONS. If BoS is in (because they're a staple) have them be in the background like the Institute was in FO3. I'm down with the BoS, but I think overexposure is starting to sour people to them.

I'm too the point, with games, that I just want them to have a clean launch. I just want them to work.
Battlefield 4, HALO, Assassins Creed, Diablo 3, and many more have just recently demoralized me, lol. I really am struggling to get excited about gaming. So for Fallout 4.
I just want it to have a clean and polished launch and actually work with as little game breaking bugs as possible.

Necro means reviving over 1 year left thread. This is cool, bro.
I think Bethesda sucks. What are they doing if not working on ES or Fallout?

I want two things from the next fallout.
#1 Give me proper maps. The amount of frustration and annoyance from the pip boy green glowing glob of nothingness for indoor areas is enough to make my head explode.
#2 Give join-able companions a lot more detail. In the fallouts and skyrims of the world I simply don;t care about my companions half the time. It's one thing BioWare does a great job of, whether I like them or hate them at least I have an opinion on BioWare companions. The companions in fallouts have too little detail for me to make me really care.

I didn't know exactly what constituted a Necro here, I just figured that 5 or 6 months is a pretty long time.
I'm getting pretty fed up with Betheda myself, what really made me mad was when they had a twitch tv stream for the new Doom and they said on the stream that they were getting ready to show Doom and they cut the feed so that the reporters and everyone at the event were the only ones to get to see it. ![]()
I'm starting to think that they should just give Fallout to Obsidian, at least Obsidian would do something with it (I liked New Vegas better anyway). It's been 6 years since Bethesda released their game and 4 since Obsidian released theirs. I figured they let Obsidian make one to tie us over until they got Skyrim finished so that they could launch their new one, but I guess not.

I wouldn't complain if they let Obsidian write the story for them.
Although I'm not sure what the holdup is on getting some news of the game. BGS hasn't released a game since Skyrim in 2011.

There are some companions in both FO3 and NV that I never recruited, but from the ones I did see, I thought some of the companions in NV were pretty interesting. The quests associated with Veronica's relationship with the Brotherhood and the role the Courier plays in resolving it were on a par with most of the companion-centered quests that I've seen in Bioware games.
The main changes I'd suggest are: 1) trigger the companion quests by just having a series of conversations rather than having certain dialogue only pop up when you visit specific places, and 2) refine the passive / aggressive system from NV a little bit, as even when set on passive, they sometimes ended up getting into a fight when I was trying to hide or avoid an enemy. The FO3 companions drove me absolutely nuts with regard to the latter, especially Dogmeat, who seemed to think he could win fights with Super Mutants and Giant Radscorpions by charging and biting them. Eventually I just made it a standard practice to leave Dogmeat at my Megaton house and not recruit anybody but Fawkes at the end, and that's only because the dialogue makes you sound like a complete jerk if you turn him down (I instead use the trick of telling him to wait somewhere safe until he eventually goes to the History Museum on his own).

If Fallout 4 is actually going to be set in Boston which is where the Commonwealth is, than I want Half the map to just be a functioning city that's been rebuilt, and the other half to be Wasteland.
That's what I wanted for New Vegas, and what I want for that Boneyard game.

What would I like to see?
Fallout 4 not being developed by Bethesda.
The curse of Bethesda carried over to New Vegas too, Obsidian foolishly used the same buggy engine which resulted in a mess at release but bugs aside, Obsidian produced a FO more true to its classic predecessors as far as an FPS version could be.
