Is it possible to finish any of them without any of the UNC based resources?

Since I have to do a second run through the game, I would like to know how many of these I could knock out without heavy effort for the sake of covering bases and flags for ME2/3 related content.

The only collecting that matters for later games is Matriarch Writings and buying the Elkoss Combine License. Unfortunately, that means lots of travel in the Mako.

You could just do a youtube search for Conrad Verner in ME3 and skip the collecting.

-_-;

Seems like I am gonna have another slow and annoying run. I have heard that Resource collection matters as well in regards to getting the 100 point asset in ME3.

Asari Writings are part of the long list of stuff required for Conrad giving his asset at full value I believe.

Full value of 5, I believe, so hopefully not a game-breaker for your ending of choice. Having said that, you don't want to disappoint Conrad do you? He's your biggest fan.

Actually, you only need to land on 2 or 3 planets. Collect the asari writings *you only need 10) with the normandy in orbit. In a single planet you can capture 3 writings in close proximity. I can collect all 10 in less than 15 minutes.

Here: Land on the planet that has 3 writings (they are all at the same place, very close), and the rest you just collect in orbit. http://masseffect.wi..._Asari_Writings

You just need this and the elkos license to have conrad alive and also use his data. And also complete the side mission on feros in which the guy asks you to retrieve some of his data from the exogeni building. And have solved the problem with the citadel waitress and her sister. I´m telling you, it takes less than 15 minutes and you´re good to go.

Him dying on my Paragade doesnt bug me that much. After the Illium run-in, my Shep starts treating him like the idiot troll wannabe he is.

As for his 5 point asset, its mostly for the sake of collection. I can get almost 8k playing through naturally now with my imported N7's

From what I understand about Conrad, not that I've done it for myself, you have to do the quest for Hossle on Feros and the quest for Rita's sister on the Citadel to keep him alive. Never seen that particular scene so I dunno how all those connect together.

Yes, and you also need to keep conrad alive during the first 2 games. And have the elkoss combine license in order to decrypt the file.

Not too hard since there is a very short list of licences worth buying in the first place.

Something to note about the planet Chohe: the Cacus system does not open up until you reach 80% morality. So if you want to use this planet as a way to reduce your drive time, you will need to focus on being either paragon or renegade. Paragade or Renegon may result in you being on Ilos before achieving the necessary morality score.

Not true. Lorik Q'uin being set up the way he was makes him an infinite source of Paragon and Renegade points. One could max both bars out while talking to him in port if they so wished.
