The devs have talked about some of the possible customization options for the Qunari when it comes to hair and horns but i was wanting to know if we will be able to have war paint options, like different designs or the option to not have war paint or to have war paint on certain parts of the body?

The bodies are preset, so body paint probably isn't an option.

As far as paint we've only seen these in DA:I

I'd love to see this style come back but it might not since we arent Qunari, we're Tal-Vashoth

Plus i dont think there are any options to customize you're body.

Im just hoping for extensive Hair, Horn, and skin options. Please, give us Arishok horns! I want to recreate him physically

Man I hope they altered the faces since then

And I remember hearing that we're Vashoth not Tal-Vashoth

The devs have said both so we'll have to wait for more confirmation.

Me too, i made a thread about it but no one seemed to agree with me, they're just too human to me. They look African/middle eastern, the close up of iron bull keeps the facial structure i want to see so i dont know why they drew back on the prominent features from DA2

I think the fact that they actually have eye whites there does a lot to make them look weirdly human.

I hope so. I like those red scruffy tattoos a lot. I hope we at least get them in the face of our qunari. Those face paint models that someone posted.. please no they look awful XD Sorry if I'm being harsh but they aren't pretty to me.

Personally I want the "option" to be hornless! Mostly if I don't like any of the horns, which is unlikely. Hornless qunari are supposed to be special for some reason, and plus I want NPCs to react to the fact I haven't got any horns as well.  Also decent face modification and elaborate hair styles. Oh and jewelry that have a variety of colors like silver or bronze. I want purple eyes, like sten!!!! Oh and the option to make the white of the eyes black!

Probably because of how they have to animate faces etc. for the PC since you're now able to customize the face in a general CC instead of having the devs use their own tool set to craft faces.

That depends on how you interpret Gaider speak.
Technically Tal-Vashoth is a slang term, used by some Vashoth to emphasise their opposition to the Qun.

Thus the proper term is Vashoth not Tal-Vashoth no matter what your position on the Qun is.

I fully expect to be able to hold the Qun in contempt even as a Vashoth.

I dont see why that would take them away from their previous design though, why not elaborate and diversify those features for CC instead of just making them humans with horns and pointed ears

Who knows.... But I seriously doubt there will be horn options, other than decorations or maybe having the horns cut/broken off like the saarebas in DA2.

On dragon age II, I've battled tal-vashot with war paint, so I think is not exclusive to the qun followers. I expect we see war paint options on our qun-quisitors! (or vash-quisitors)

I think that's because the ones in DA2 were in the military and such had certain standards they had to obey... the guy in that screenie was tal-vashoth if i remember correctly, therefore free to grow a beard if he wanted to.

but yeah, the ability for a qunari to grow a beard is new o:

Why "seriously" doubt it if they said they're working on options? Plus i would imagine a no horns option would be simple to implement.

Being a tal-vashot is looking more and more awesome by the minute. Freedom as a mage, don't being tied by the stupid qun code and one could grow a beard!! I hope my vash-quisitor can have a beard!

because that would imply a diversity among the qunari species that we have never seen or heard about before...at least not to my knowledge of the DA universe.

The two past games werent able to portray anything beyond what we saw due to limitations, not lore, this is a brand new engine. I dont see why not hearing or seeing any other designs would conclude that no other ones exist. Compare the Arishok, iron bull, da 2 qunari, and the screen shot i posted, thats pretty diverse on its own and theres no doubt more we havent seen. Its like saying no other hair designs exist because we havent seen or heard about them

can't really put iron bull in with DA2 Qunari due to him being part of the new Qunari model. And as to the Arishok and the screenshots on this thread, the only differences I see are the sizes of the horns not the overall shape/pattern. The size difference is most likely due to the Arishok and Salit being older (evident by their facial features) than the other qunari that have been shown. Of course my logic could be flawed due to all the other qunari just being generic models.

I meant the screen shots of the PC qunari models for DA:I and i thought that was implied when i mentioned the past two games limitations. They literally used the same character model for every except the arishok and salit. You cant make a conclusion based off of that
