Most pugs I see running with Voli seem to not even know that they have a mini Tactical Cloak. They should be using it all the time... combined with Shield Boost my Voli are nearly invincible unless a Marauder or Captain gets a bead on me.

Zero fitness,of course. It's not worth it, with their base health/shields. You're dead no matter what if you're ever caught with your pants down.

The Merc and Engy are very underrated... nothing like trolling Geth with your pets. I usually run the Scorpion on them.

Play against Geth, get used to the cloaking feature and use it to your advantage. Use both decoys to conceal your presence even more. He's the puppet master and pulls all the strings from the background. Strong gun recommended.

I run no fitness with him, although, three points into Decoy and 5 into Fitness is also another great way to play this character. You really want both Decoy and Combat Drone, not just one of them, because this character is meant for distracting and spawn controlling. You can make Geth Primes look stupid, but note that Dragoons are very resistant to decoy-like powers which means they'll come for you regardless. Right now, I run this!

Nothing surprising about the pets, I always take the shock/explosion evos, but...

6/6/6/6/0 bulid Since the pets are specced for explosion, you will get FEs for days.

... wait, pet explosions can detonate tech combos ? I did not know it... if it's true then he is better than I thought. I might try something with a stagger/aoe weapon then, Venom maybe.

I like the idea of running a Claymore on a volus too, that's already how my protector roll (with bat gauntlet too obviously). Same with infinite ammos weapons... I'll try everything. Except the Arc Pistol, because I use it too much on other kits I'll avoid sniper rifles too, I dislike them (except Kishock and CSR). I'd rather avoid the Harrier and Reegar too...

Not sure about the no fitness thing. I know, fitness is for scrubs, but I'm a scrub (and a pyjak). I don't have tons of cyclonics to waste.

Yeah sure , just prime the enemies with - lets say - Incendiary Acolyte... ofc they have to be still primed while the decoy/drone explodes. It's really hilarious to watch those stupid Geth Bombers literally destroying themselves.

I prefer to run with zero fitness, cos' the difference between 0 and 6 points in fitness is the difference between 100 health/500 shields vs 248 health/825 shields... so not so much, especially since I always use cyclonics on this dude.  But my friend is running a full fitness ClaymoreVolus with Adrenaline Module 3 , and it still works

i mostly don t use those pets (kits with those pets), but what s the use of the static one ?  I tend to find altbouli alternative common sense or am i missing smtgh ?

Just an amazing class vs the Geth.  For some reason I never thought about Husars recommendation of using melee to get out of line of sight and then case decoy.  That's a great tip.  I also used the particle rifle for him and it was reasonably effective.

As much as I love the PPR, I cant seem to make it work on the little tiny volus. Probably my favorite gun on a lot of other characters, just not him. Probably like Dunvi, ramp up times. I love this character, and it is an absolute blast to play once you figure him out. It was one of the last character I did the challenges for on the Botb banner, and I am a little disappointed I waited so long. I run the Lancer or CSMG with IA or AP  depending on the team.

Basically a free TC with no damage bonus. When I get on a volus kick I sometimes find myself light melee'ing with an Infiltrator while trying to cloak.

Arc pistol with disruptor ammo to become the mini geth prime, full with stun ammo, stun decoy and stun drone.

As has been said spec Pets for Shock and EXPLOSIONS!!!!! 

 

I use Hurricane and Incendiary ammo.

 

Cloak and run to/into a group and drop decoy run away and shoot, spam drone and lap up those FE.
