Just a thought about trailer and that scene where 12 companions are shown.

 

What if we get different companions based by gender/race/class of inquisitor ?

Like for example if we take Female Inquisitor we get Cullen if we take Male we get Grey Warden guy.

 

It was strange when they confirmed that Cullen is Love interest , but if he isnt your party member that is kinda disapointing , coz advancing his dialogue you can only when you visit your Keep , no extra dialogue choices or alighment shifts from other locations where you with party...its kinda DULL..in ME I didnt like npc like Steve Cortez or any other as possible LI , coz they dialogue options and participation is much less compared to party members..

Another thing , in DA2 we did get different party member based on class , Bethany or Carver...since they already went through this  , maybe we get same thing here ?

 

Same with other 3 unknown char shown in trailer ?!

 

Yes we get party of 9 but maybe those 9 companions is different depending on what kind of inquisitor is.

 

Or maybe I missed smth and its already comfired that Cullen and others unknowns will be NPC kind...which is kinda sad..

3 of these NPC are advisors. Cullen is the military advisor, Leliana the Espionage advisor and Scribble the merchant advisor.

No but given that they are the ones shown without weapons in art and the trailer, its a fair assumption.

Also, Leliana is confirmed as your spy mistress. The other two roles are up in the air, but I ave a hard time imagining Scribbles as the war leader given her attire and pencil pushing demeanor.

There was an interview of Cameron Lee made by ausgamers (http://www.ausgamers...es/read/3432915), on one hand he didn't literally say that Cullen would be a military advisor, on the other hand he clearly said "you've got a secret facet with spies and assassins lead by Leliana from DAO".
So Scribble and Cullen are not officially announced as advisors as far as I'm concerned but they are not announced as companions either.

It would be pretty crazy though if Cullen landed up being a companion and the GW landed up being the military advisor.  That would be the best blindslide ever !!!! .
