I feel like the second elf is suffering of some genetic disease.

 

The elves are way too thin and borderline ugly.

 

 

I really regret they went down the DA2 path.

the little we have seen so far of DAI elves are a great improvement from DA2 Goblins. Still don't understand what was wrong with little cute elves in DAO...they just needed some hairstyle to show the ears, and where ok.

Hahaha. Looking at that first picture, I just assumed all the characters were elves, since that's what OP is complaining about.

 

It took me a good five minutes at least to realise they were supposed to be all the different races.

Those ears still annoy me. Heh. Since I'm on 360, never could use mods to improve it.

 

Other than that, they weren't bad.. but I do think DAI is an improvement over both games. But then, I'm sort of used and expect this more D&D like depiction.

same problem here. I was on PS3, and all my at least decent loocking elves where always or human like or with ponytails (that I hate with a passion) since all the shorter cut where something horrible. I really hope for pixie hairt or decent hairstyles.

I had to whait and buy a new pc to play a modded version of DAO and finally have some decent looking elves.

The big problem with the graphic style shift of DA2 was that while some races looked okayish or samish (like humans), elves looked too much like a caricature. DAI seems to give each race their own sort-of art style, yaknowwhatImsayin?

I actually prefer the DA2 elves over these new ones, at least when it comes to the females.. the males were always a bit weird. The Female Elf's skeletal structure in DA2 was near perfect IMO, just needed a little tlc and they'd be the beautiful elves they're supposed to be and not just humans with pointy ears and disproportionate facial features..

I think there were a lot of elves in DA:2 that looked attractive, but I think i'm going to prefer the DA:I middle ground. I like both more than the DA:O elves though. They looked too human.

is he Solas? (sorry for the ignorance, I don't read every topic on the forum  ) he is...quite handsome. I must admit. not bad. not bad at all. (don't really know many adjectives in english, and those I know in my language are quite V.M.18, I think)
