I mentioned Boondocks because that show taught me how to avoid getting in fights with black people which is good to know if you want to avoid getting ganged.

Other than what I said before...

'Animaniacs' and 'Tom & Jerry' cartoons are Evil. They're why younglings are so sinister!

'Coyote & Roadrunner' is sadistic.

90% of cartoons in general have either the main focus of 'the rule of cool' or fighting/action dominant atmosphere, both with the minimum amount of moral lessons.

End of line.

I just realized my last post lacked any sort of point, apologies, allow me to resume.

What I'm get at with those post-episode PSAs is that they're pointless, as I deem it worthless bits of fluff to riff since they add nothing but to hammer a lesson down someone's throat, which not how kids learn. You mention Bravestarrs drug episode, but those things were extremely rare, especially episodes involving death, yeah there might be an episode of like Captain Planet about aids or something (I'm not making that one up). But going from your OP alone, you bring up other lessons you find absent such as Respect your Elders. Which aren't of the same calibur as drug abuse, and better suited for parents to teach (but the only reason they threw morals at you so much is because parents couldn't be asked to do it themselves).
Your statement is that cartoons are now dumber. I'd argue against that, sure, the fact I'm younger than you plays a part in it. But when we get down to it, censorship on animation is far lessened than it was 10-15 years ago, allowing to write better, more complex stories a good example of this is to compare the 90s Spider-Man series to 2008s Spectacular Spider-Man. 90s spidey had the fox cencors down their throat making sure it was to a very distinct neutered level, but the team was talented enough to make a pretty descent series out of all that. However it was still limited, by those restraints so descents what I'm giving it. Spectacular had far less restrictions and had better fights, more developed characters, and a far more interesting art style.
Another series that I say had good lessons was Ben 10 (OG, not those spin-off monstrosities), which was about not being an attention hogging Jag, and doing the right thing. Along with being a series that teaches you your not always going to have the odds in your favor, but you can adapt with what your given to punch Aliens in the face (which is why the Omnitrix hardly ever worked).

The Moral Lessons are one of the main reasons Bravestarr stuck with me so long.  In there Anti-drug episode they actually had a kid die from a drug overdose, they show the grief of the mother, the guilt of his best friend for not telling someone sooner, and the moral lesson segment was done in the cemetery by the kids grave where Bravestarr even lays a wreath after the lesson of the day.

That episode and Fallen Idol were very powerful. Linked Fallen Idol on the first place for those that want to watch, the lesson here is even those you consider can become a bad guy.
