I still have my dignity. I wont let it get ruined by greed.

...Really? You're talking about dignity in relation of a forum avatar ?

Fool. You could have chosen a tattered Templar emblem so it still held your Pro-Mage beliefs. You missed out on a couple hundred dollars there.

Yeah... If there is one thing Kirkwall really NEEDS then it is the further destabilization of its already fragile Veil.... Great thinking Emissary! I'm sure all the Kirkwallers, current and future, will be eternally greatful to Anders...

There was no fixing such a place after the magisters had their way.

It's a terrible place filled with terrible people who do terrible things. Kirkwall deserved its fate.

I have pride you know :) I can't let it get ruined... even in a form of a forum avatar :)

The Templar emblem is an abomination to everything that I believe in. I wont let the sign of corruption anywhere near me. Not even for money.

So your avatar for example being a flag with the Templar insignia on it being destroyed would not be something you'd put as an avatar?

I'm not a Templar fan so why should I have something pro Templar on my avatar let a loan on my signature?

Because said Pro-Templar symbol is being destroyed in the image, matching your desire to destroy them?

Also, you never answered my question.

Why? Why does Cullen even care when hes bailing out anyways? Seems to me that hes switching teams from being a Templar to now being part of the inquisition. Cullen is smart. He realizes that the Templars are full of bums and lyrium addicts. He even admits in DA2 that the Templar's are becoming far less popular within society as time goes by. Templar's use to have the doors open now people shut their doors right in their faces. Hes right by quitting the Templar Order.

If I was an elite artist I would have drawn Anders pissing on the Templar insignia. If you or know anyone that can do this to me I would love to replace my avatar with the new one.

That was the Kirkwall population, not population in general.

And to keep this on topic by involving Anders, Ander's action in 9:37 pretty much justify the need of the Templars so expect the commoners to be very accepting of them.

Correction: Kirkwall is full of PEOPLE. Normal ass people, just trying to make their way through life.

I don't think there is a single town on the face of Thedas (and even our own world) without a single terrible person in it..

How so? Anders did what anyone would do under duress conditions. Look at what the Templars were doing the mages in Kirkwall. Do you think mages were turning to blood magic for the sake of it? No. They turned to the dark art for the sake of defending themselves against the Templars. Not all mages wants to be locked away in some tower for the rest of their lives. This is what the Templar's are doing, and the mages have every right to fight for what they believe in. The Chantry was asking for it and they got what they deserved. They started this mage/Templar war.

If anything what Anders taught us all is that it is the Templar's and the Chantry that should be policed, and not have so much power like they had back then. It is also ridiculous that Templar's must approve a noble for being the next Viscount. Like I said before they have far too much power under their sticky fingers of theirs.

Very true. They didn't deserve to have their lives go up in flames.

Anders justified every fear people have of mages and every reason the Templar Order exists when he killed innocent people in his bomb blast. Whether you think Elthina was or not, there were Chantry sisters and brothers whose only 'crime' was devoting themselves to a life of prayer.

Some mages were turning to blood magic for the sake of it, yes.

No, the mages started the war by abolishing the Circle of Magi. I want mages to have more rights too, but I'll admit they are the ones who made it a war.

Kirkwall is not the norm for Templars just as much as it is not the norm for mages.

Since you didn't answer this before, I'll ask again.

Yes I'm going that far into calling her monstrous because shes part of the problem in Thedas.

Then you admit Anders is a monster too since he is part of the problem?

You don't think that the Chantry hasn't killed innocent people in the past? Grand Cleric Elthina admitted that killing innocent lives has never stopped the Chantry from going on Exalted Marches to defend "the Faith". If a mage refuses to go by the teachings of the Chantry they're listed as an apostate and living a life as an apostate means consent harassment by the Chantry's Templar's. The chantry treats their captive mages like cattle.

Why should I call Anders a monster when his primary goals is to free his fellow mages from the Chantry? His goals and reasons are legit.

Like I said before the chantry started this little war and now they must deal with the consequences.

I never said that. However I don't blame an innocent nun who had nothing to do with it except being a nun of the same church as guilty of the crime. If that was true, we are all guilty of being accomplices to murder since we are all parts of nations who have killed people.

The mages are treated like birds in a gilded cage. If the mages were living in filth like City Elves or Casteless Dwarvess, then I'd say they are treated like cattle.

The Chantries priests are far from being innocent. They're part of the problem, not the solution so I refuse to call them innocent.

Because he is part of the problem, just like Elthina whom you called a monster. He helped continue this little cycle of hatred these groups have for each other. Plus he sacrificed an entire Circle of the people he is trying to help to send a message. That's monstrous no matter how you slice it.

Again, mages started the war by abolishing the Circle of Magi. That's akin to the colonies signing the Declaration of Independence, which officially started the American Revolutionary War. Now as to unofficially started it, that argument goes way back to before even Tevinter since everything that has happened is a cycle of hatred.
