Yeah, he compared the circles to extermination camps previously.

The Harrowing.

How many mages were murdered for being force to take this ridiculous test that was proven obsolete when a senior mage summoned a pride demon and wand up getting possessed by it?

All of those mages who died for failing the Harrowing died for NOTHING.

Damn, that's cold, Ares lol

I would say have him fight DragonSlayer Ornstein, but he's not worthy of that honor

Let's leave real world politics out of this.

Good idea. Lets stop calling Anders a terrorist.

So to summarize: You condone Anders' act of terrorism, because he as an illegal Apostate, who had no business interfering with Circle affairs, weren't listened to by the powers that be.

You know that whole "We don't negotiate with terrorist" policy that most governments use?

....you got it all in so many wrong ways ! for the first part ,it have nothing to do with him being illegal or apostate or anything at all regarding him . he did it because he witness the violence acts and abuses on the mages by the templars everyday more and more ,templars who should have been the law ,instead they used their power like that alric to condam innocent mages like that girl into tranquility so they could use them in the so many ways they want , if this is not terrorism itself .

and yeah your right ,he did had no business inteferring in the circle affairs, do you guess who's business was ? the grand cleric . what did she do regarding this business ? nothing . keeping an eye over all this transgration of law by the law itself , and bieng above the commander of the law itself , she kept silent. silence over the days ,over the years , trying nonetheless to reach for her and speak sense to her , but even her couldnt do anything to help those people .

i think this is the part you didnt get.

after that Anders was not claimed as a 'terrorist' yet when he was still trying to speak to the grand cleric ,when he was still writing his manifesto ,when he was still helping people in the undercity for free.

that part too you forgot. now try to rethink about what i say above if you want .

Enough with the "Elthina did nothing" nonsense. She was the only person stopping Meredith from killing all the mages by refusing Meredith's RoA requests. That's one of the reasons Anders takes her out.

Calling Anders a terrorist for trying to save his fellow mages is also insulting and inconsiderate, not to mention it shows just how ignorant and blind people truly are.

Anders is by definition a terrorist, it may be harsh but it's true.

You cannot at all say the same about the holocaust and the current Mage oppression.

Unfortunately war causes fatalities of the innocence. That's the price of war. The Chantry should've realized that when they started to kidnap children and imprisoned mages and locking them up in towers.

Anders was not in a war, what he did was an act of terrorism. See above.

You can't honestly call someone a terrorist for standing up for what they believe in, and willing to fight for the rights of your people.

I can.

terrorist (plural terrorists)

  1. A person, group, or organization that uses violent action, or the threat of violent action, to further political goals; frequently in an attempt to coerce either a more powerful opponent, (such as a citizen or group targeting a government), or conversely, a weaker opponent, (such as a government, or even an internal citizen or group, being targeted by a larger government).

ter·ror·ism [ter-uh-riz-uhthinsp.pngthinsp.pngm]
noun
  1. the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, especially for political purposes.
  2. the state of fear and submission produced by terrorism or terrorization.
  3. a terroristic method of governing or of resisting a government.
  4. the systematic use of violence and intimidation to achieve some goal

He chose to go on a warpath (with Justice's influence - THANKS, JERKFACE) and slaughtered countless innocents all for his "righteous cause" just because he couldn't pursue a way to peaceably improve the quality of life of mages. But because he decided to go through with this, he's actually made mages seem even worse in general. His (and Justice's) decision to use terrorism - I'm talking about the definition here, not real world events - was a very, very, very, bad move.

Good idea, being a condescending fanboy is a surefire way to make others view Anders differently.

She tried to keep things from escalating to violence sure but she was rather useless in easing tensions which made her approach rather self defeating.

All the Harrowing is meant to prove is whether or not a mage can handle entering the fade without falling prey to a demon. It's not meant to be a guarantee against future possession that's what the templars are for.

That still means the "she did nothing" arguments are blatantly false. She wasn't making things better, but she was stopping them from getting a lot worse.
