........ you just ....got it so wrong . Anders and justice are one !!! they hear each other thoughts !!!

Now consider Justice. When he inhabits Kristoff’s body, it’s clear he can “remember” some of his host’s life events. So when he takes possession of Anders, I think it’s a reasonable hypothesis to say he “remembers” everything done to Anders…and everything Anders has been trying very hard not to think about or dwell upon. He can’t keep his shields up from his own thoughts, so all his defenses crumble. And that’s when he realizes that what’s being done to the mages is wrong.

thats what you sadlly didnt get from the game. there never been any corruption . they were both agreed about the mage situation. they both saw the injustice .

I think they both correctly identify the injustice here.

I just don't think Justice ever belonged here. He doesn't know how to live in this world. And his solutions demonstrate that.

They very transparently are.

I mean, durr, what else do you call it when a religion goes around trying to get people to quit their opposing religion and come join theirs?

Every evangelistic religion is after world domination. How is that not completely apparent in the way that they try to stifle the rights of non-believers, try to get their bogus lies taught in schools, and constantly interfere with secular politics?

There's no way you could possibly be unaware of any of this, unless you are somehow completely devoid of critical faculties.

Virtually every great empire or nation, every philosophy, and every culture seeks to obtain what you call "world domination". It's a fact of life. I'd rather have the Chantry win out instead of mages who would do nothing to check their own power. The Chantry is the common man's way of fighting back and ensuring those who can burn your village to ash don't rule over those who cannot.

it's literally lore that the Dalish did that lmao

Lol, do you not know what "lore" means? It means legends and myths.

There is equal lore saying that the Chantry invaded the Dalish without cause.

The Chantry version isn't automatically more right just because you want it to be.

You're serious?

I am absolutely serious.

Anyone who doesn't think their grandmother is racist and/or homophobic most likely has either not been paying attention, or has never had cause to broach these topics with said grandmother.

Same goes for grandfathers. Pretty much anyone who was born prior to 1950, at the very least.

Technically no.  Justice agrees because he is one with Anders, but that doesn't mean his individual spiritual self actually agrees with it, since that part of "him" is long gone.  It's more so, Anders influencing certain aspects of Justice himself - which in itself, is relating to Ander's outlook and perspective on what is.. "injustice" to begin with - which all stagnates from his experiences within his own life.

Virtually all grandmothers are bigoted old bitches, regardless of religious affiliation.

It seems somebody is a bit mad that grandma didn't pay them enough attention. What happened? Did she forget your birthday or is she just another terrible human being by nature of not sharing your opinion?

Why do these threads always involve themselves in real life religion, politics?

because there is a deepest meaning in Anders actions that people nowadays can't understand it but by one name .

Some things you need to fight for. Think of WWII and the Holocaust. There was a lot of pressure on the United States to remain neutral because the war was violent, bloody, and there was no guarantee of victory. Some even go so far as to say Pearl Harbor was allowed to happen in order to get the American public on the president’s side about entering the war. I don’t hold to this myself, but that such conspiracy theories exist at all should demonstrate the amount of division there was about this issue. But was fighting against a regime of genocide really a bad thing? Should the United States have stayed out of it because they couldn’t be sure they would win? Should they have let those people die? There are a lot of parallels in DA2 with WWII, such as Ser Alrik and his Tranquil Solution. So I don’t think I’m grasping at straws here.

Some things are worth fighting for.

Honestly Plaintiff, you need to relax with all that. That's a disgusting and rude thing to say.

Why not? It's always easier to debate closer to home with good comparisons.

It is and it's easier to take advantage of people's sensitivity within these topics, since a few of you tend to generalize the individual based off their stances, when you know nothing about them, apart from that they pursue a specific religion and or political outlook.

It depends. My grandmother was a quiet old Buddhist lady in rural Thailand. I don't think any of these kind of lifestyle choices make sense in her world. Not everyone is an American living in the Deep South, you know ;)

What if that religion/political outlook is enough?

My grandmother loves me.

But she wouldn't if she knew I was gay.

Tolerant grandparents are the exception, not the norm. At least in the Western world.

Isn't one of the characteristics of social justice not to make sweeping generalizations? I mean I do not know if you are being satirical but you do say some pretty inconceivable things at times. I could play the same game.

-All black people are thieves.

-All mexicans are illegal

-All lesbians are angry.

-All gays are not normal.

See how stupid you sound?

Nah, people are also born into religious families, and most people stay2. Also you can change your nation as well.

This depends on the nation. Not every nation works the same when it comes to religion. Let's say in the USA you can't get state involved in religion and that is a good thing as far as i'm concern. They are separate and freedom to practice or not practice is protected by the first amendment. That amendment isn't going anywhere.

So you preach equality, but generalize.  My homie, that logic is yee-yee to the level of maximus rep'ed.
