my question is..do your extra talents, the one you get to pick in the beginning..is that gonna transfer over to ME 2?
my Adapt has Assault Rifle training as a example...

Good question! I'd also like to know if we keep our paragon/renegade points, as well as our specialisation?

Doubtful, given that you can start out as a new class no matter what your class was in ME 1. There is mention that Soldiers start out with Assault Rifles and unlock Light Machine Guns, and that everyone else starts our with Sub Machine Guns and can unlock Assault Rifles, so I imagine you will get your wish, after a fashion.
