Yesterday I tried tried Scimitar for the first time. On AIU offcourse (Gold). And surprisingly I found it very effective. Somehow more effective than AT-Raider. 2 shot AT-raider sometime put me in trouble but 8 shot Scimitar with all shotgun bonuses she gets was really good. IMO Most effective on her is Crusader. I dont use Reeger because cheese. :-)

Am I drunk to like Scimitar more than AT? :-)

Sometimes I use the scimitar as a talon alternative, since it handles similarly, but fires faster and has more shots, even if it does do less damage. :/

It does low damage(otherwise) , but with huge AIU shotgun bonuses, weakened armour by snap freeze, incendiary 4 and Targettting VI I was killing scions faster than the previous match I tried with Raider.

Yeah, you were definitely doing something very wrong. Were you trying to kill the Scion from the other side of the map or something?

I find the black widow more effective than the raider at killing enemies the other side of the map

I was just trying it to complete my shotgun mastery. So I couldn't use BE.

Sometimes yes. I couldn't be on his face all the time because collector Captains.

Also can u kill a scion in one AT clip ( 2 shots). I am not sure. May be they got possessed.

You can 1-2clip a Scion with Raider..

You realise you get the same bonuses with the Raider right? Were you trying to use the raider at long range by any chance? The Raider has a large pellet spread so its optimal at close range but becomes a lot less effective and long range

I agree CQ there is no competition. But you can't be on the face all the time. Just took BSN advice on completing shotgun challenges with her. And I like Scimitar on her. It has decent accuracy.

Except for on Sexbot.

Next is Katana. Those 2 challenges I never completed.

I use it on my melee shadow build. It's a fair bit lighter than the Piranha and miles lighter than Wraith etc. With this kit you can SS almost continuously.

I'd still take the Wraith/Omni-blade ... the thought of having to kill Atlases with the Scimitar ... *shudders*

The Scimitar is one of the best uncommon weapons and one with the best sound. It's very fun to use with a Tsol and a smart choke mod.

I love the Scimitar but the Raider is a boss ass weapon.

If you know how to reload cancel the Raider's two shots should never be that much of an issue.

And stop using the AIU you scrub, anything will be good on that thing.
