That so depends on your playstyle. I could use ACA effectively, but never got good with her until now. In the beginning when I started playing her, I used RM not noticing the hiding phantom who stabbed me in the gut as I got the free revive. I convinced myself i would never be good at RM and did not play her much at all. Goddamn phantoms. LOL.

Like I said, I needed (wanted) to do my Scimitar /katana challenges so I used her. Do you read?

Scimitar isn't particularly great on any character.

 

It can be fairly solid in a couple roles though.

I have an irrational hatred of the Scimitar.  It's objectively a pretty bad weapon, but it's by far my least favorite weapon on this game.  The reason for this is that I loved the Scimitar in ME2.  I haven't seen the stats, but it seemed to me that it had the highest DPS on the game.  It was just so much fun to unload a bunch of shots right in the enemy's face.  Then came ME3..... what they did to my beloved Scimitar should be made into a Lifetime movie.  I can't even stand to use it.  It feels dirty.

What they did to ME2 guns was an atrocity. I'm particularly salty about the Revenant.

I never really used the Revenant that much in ME2 because you could only get it on the Soldier.  It was ridiculous in that game though.  Not so much in ME3.  The Viper and Locust were hit hard too.

 

The Carnifex is really the only gun that is close to as good in ME3 as it was in ME2.  I guess the Mattock is also pretty good, but not nearly as good as ME2.

Shuriken also was hit hard.  It was overlooked since it was an original gun in ME2, but once you got the SMG upgrades (like Shield Piercing) it was great in CQB.

All the guns in ME2 were pretty good (except maybe the Predator).  Once you got the accuracy upgrades, the Avenger actually was pretty deadly on full auto.

I wish the scimitar had been given a head-shot multiplier bonus like the graal was, I could find a use for a lightweight anti-mook shotgun on a few of my kits.

So I tried Katana (AIU and for challenge). Now that was real PITA. Gave up. Already completed shotgun mastery *3.

Scimitar is not a gold worthy weapon , I admit. Except for in AIU. . It fired fast and has large clip. Heavy barrel and Incendiary 4. It wasn't as frustrating really. Even the atlases ( un shielded ones went down not so slowly with snapfreeze and her cloak bonuses).

coz smashbro main weapon of destruction is smash. They are real boitics who use biotics and do not rely on weapon. :-)
