I plan on getting DA:I on release day and was really hoping to get the deluxe edition. However, everywhere I look I see it in disk form or digital on Origin. I am going all digital on my Xbox One. Now, I realize there isn't digital preorders on my Xbox One yet, and that may be the only reason. However, I do not see anything saying it will be released in this fashion either. I wanted to know if this is going to be the case. I would really like to get the soundtrack and the bonus goodies the deluxe offers but am not willing to compromise by going disk copy (not trying to start a fight. What works for others works for them. I'm all digital bc I have 2 kids and a very energetic dog named Garrus. Discs tend to end up broken or missing). Any word? If not, please make it available digitally from more than Origin :)

I would also like to hear more on this. I really do not want to have to buy a physical copy to get all the good extras.

The Physical edition will have no extra DLC. You get the same as the digital deluxe edition. :)

Well I have good news for you! Fortunately even if you get the disc version, it will be 'verified' in Origin and thus you can download it any point hence. The disc is only for verification or for installation without internet. Even if you get a physical item, doesn't stop you installing and playing the game using Origin's cloud, so long as you have the key code that came with.

So functionally the only difference is that you get a disc box with a pretty potential-coaster in it. Fun!

EDIT: Wait, you mean xbox? Sorry, saw Origin in your post and got confused. Does Xbox Live not also include the cloud?

On the other note, I can almost guarantee that come closer to release, then prices and stock are all finalised, you'd be able to get DD through Live also.

Xbox Live has Cloud as part of it, yes.

Xbox has cloud but you do not get a digital copy of the game when you buy the physical copy. I assume this is to prevent people from buying the game, installing it, then returning it or trading it in.

I'm hoping Bioware and EA makes the digital deluxe more widely available. I bought one game hard copy for my xb1 and regretted it but I don't want to miss out on the goodies.

Can't answer since I really don't hate myself enough to play it on a console (shivers in disgust) PC is the only way worth playing for me

Any news on this yet? If I can't get the digital deluxe on Xbox One, will I at least be able to purchase the additional content at a premium? I figure I can just buy the soundtrack on its own at amazon, but the added goodies would be nice too.
