What did you get wrong? You omitted the actual relevant bit of info: Their reflective plate-like skin makes turians less susceptible to long-term, low-level radiation exposure, but they do not possess any sort of "natural armor".

 

 

 Dear keeper of the Codex - I didnt say they had armour - . The codex also says that  "A turian's thick skin does not stop projectiles and directed energy bolts"  but  I still reckon their "plate like" skin is tougher than a Human Adepts foot .
