The only silver challenge I'm missing (Old N7 weekend events aside) is Condor Platinum waves, which I'm currently at 52. For some reason when I play UUP, which honestly isn't that often as I really don't enjoy platinum that much, I just never seem to get that map. Which is fine with me, as I hate that map. The reason I only have 52 plat waves instead of 60 is because one of the platinum games I played on that map bugged out.

 

But all the other maps, waves, extractions, guns, powers, etc I've done them all at least once, most more than once. Some were an eye opening experience and in my experience differed greatly from the general consensus on here.

Did all almost a year ago. Most weapons I had left at that time, I just slapped them on the GI and hosted UUP to get more points to be done in 1 match. Waves I just played normally and switched between the kits so it wasn't much of a grind for me.
Vindicator was the worst of all.

I just finished N7 yesterday.  I am very happy about that.  I will probably NEVER promote again.  Unless whatever my current N7 works out to once I get everyone back to 20 is close enough to a nice number that I may consider a couple more promotions to hit it.

Eww, silver. TBH, I hate playing Silver more than any difficulty.

 

The OP means silver as in challenge medals rather than silver as in UUS. Sometimes it helps to read a post or two to get the sense of the thread.

I just finished N7 yesterday.  I am very happy about that.  I will probably NEVER promote again.  Unless whatever my current N7 works out to once I get everyone back to 20 is close enough to a nice number that I may consider a couple more promotions to hit it.

 

I'm in the same boat I hit 60 promotions back in March of 2013 and have not promoted once since.

Seeker Swarms good luck.... I hate that power, and never spec into it. That and Biotic Orbs shall remain forever undone in my manifest.

I'm also looking to get those (seeker swarms) done. Not having any fun with that at the moment, so if anyone has recommendations for that, pls chime in.

Everything but the Solo challenges. Oh, and I don't think I'll play too many Platinum matches so the "25 Platinum Extractions" challenge will likely not be completed.

Lets see.  I maxed my Manifest about 8 months ago, maybe 9.  I had gotten BOTB way before that..  I'd say about a year ago I wrapped up all of the challenges.

Apart from weekend challenges (which are now impossible to complete), I have done all the challenges except for 100 waves platinum on Goddess. The problem is that map keeps glitching out on platinum on PS3 and so most of the time you can't complete the match. Tried to increase the number of waves by playing with friends, but the glitching, so I stopped, don't want my friends to suffer for this.

 

Maybe I'll do something like 3 waves solo numerous times. Less likely to glitch and I can force my way through waves using armored compartments.

I started doing the SMG challenge and realised just how much I hate every SMG except the Hurricane. 

 

Loads of character challenges I've not done, as there are so many characters I don't enjoy playing (Talon, Cabal, any Vorcha, any Batarian etc.)

 

I've done one Solo Gold with a Kroguard (I got bored), and I doubt I'll ever solo Platinum. A combination of not being good enough, not wanting to waste gear, and not wishing to spend an hour playing multiplayer on my own

I'll play some duo's on Goddess with you, if you like. In my experience it's mainly full teams or players joining games in progress that cause real issues there.

 

OT: I thought about trying to complete all the silver challenges at one point but felt it would just be a horrible grind a lot of the time. There are several characters and a handful of weapons that I just don't like using at all.

The phoenix kits, the talon, krogan warlord and shaman to name a few. Also, most of the weapons that cause RSI like the predator or phalanx and ones that are just terrible like the shuriken (disregarding for a moment it's awesome shield-stripping abilities).

Thanks for the offer cato. I'll take you up on that, assuming you don't mind me rumbling around as a jugg. I'm 54 waves along, so a game or two would make a significant difference.

So OT, i did not went for all 200 waves challenges, i prefer to try gold solos when in need of challenge

If you look next to each challenge you'll see that there are gold or silver "medals" next to each
When you complete a challenge at least once it becomes colored in
You can earn every banner and consequently BotB without completing every challenge.
Some players like to try to complete every challenge at least once

Strange to see all the griping about N7 mastery. It's the easiest, just keep promoting and you'll get it even if you're as awful a player as I am.

 

The thing killing me is pistol mastery right now. To complete it I would have to learn to use the Acolyte, the Scorpion, or the Suppressor, all of which I suck at. Or I'd have to unlock the Paladin, which seems set to happen just before the sun explodes at the present rate.

 

And catching those pesky Nemeses, but that's covered in another thread.

It's kind of you both to provide help to mitigate my suckiness. I shall have to experiment and see if I can learn to make one of those kits actually do damage instead of merely cause hilarity at Cerberus coffee breaks.

 

Would any of those weapons be good on the SI? I still have about 100 waves to do with him and I have no idea how to make the best of him other than hiding in a corner with a Widow.

He's an infiltrator which means any weapon is better on him than most of the other kits. The SI build I have enjoyed the most is this: Venom SI.

 

You have venom IV which is quite good. Other options are arc pistol, executioner and claymore (all of them are capable of one shotting mooks with cloak bonus and appropriate ammo iirc). If you wanna snipe, try CSR, kishock.
