I wounder if it is possible to tell Wrex and the queen about the sabotage-plan and still stop Mordin and sabotage in spreading the cure in the end of the mission?

Nope. If you blab about the sabotage in the truck, there is no option later on to stop the cure. Doesn't matter if it's Wrex or Wreav.

That would have been the real renegade option

A renegade can arguably be seen as evil, but they're not stupid.

Then again, nobody would suspect you after telling...

This actually raises the question of why, if you convince Mordin to not cure the genophage, he still has to fake his own death. When the only reason people would think he would have any need to sacrifice himself is because of the sabotage (which Wreav didn't know about anyway).

Any of the other krogan who saw Mordin on Tuchanka  would be looking for someone to blame when they realized the "cure" didn't work. Mordin, a distrusted slarian -- distrusted because krogan hate salarians for giving them the genophage in the first place -- would make a convenient target.

Plus Mordin's old anyway, he wants to spend whatever time he has left performing tests on seashells, not running from krogan.

Makes sense. That's probably a standard STG exit plan anyway, to remove the trail.
