I used to have an Xbox360 and a Wii but I sold the Wii and the Xbox died so im left with PS2, PS3 and PC.

This doesn't seem to be related to Inquisition so much as its related to the Xbox One so this thread is better suited in Off Topic but as for the subject, it depends.

 

I don't pay attention too much to resolution or frame rate when I get my games, I just care if I'm having fun. Because of this I'm not one of the best folks to talk to when it comes to this sort of thing. I can say this- I own an X1 right now, two of my stepbrothers own PS4s, plan to get X1s, and upon seeing them both work we've come to the conclusion that both are pretty much the same thing so when it comes to Inquisition, I don't believe the console will have to suffer lowering one or the other.

 

Basically, don't worry about it. Inquisition will look great no matter what platform you play it on, whether its 360, PS3, X1, PS4, or PC.

 

You're right, I'm sure Inquisition will be great no matter what platform we play it on, i was just curious and wanted to know if it was going to differ in resolution or frame rate because i want to get it for my Xbox One instead of my PS4 but i also want the best possible experience.

I see the wars started in my absence.

 

In our home we own: PCs, original xbox, xbox360, Wii, and most recently a PS4, and we will likely also end up with an X1 by the end of the year. As to which system you play on, it comes down to what it always does for each individual.... PREFERENCE.

 

With that said, I'm certain DAI will be an awesome game experience no matter what you choose to play it on.

Sincerely curious, what makes one buy Xbox? This early on in console generation,neither of them has catalog to speak of. Like..you buy games for next gen consoles cause, for some reason, you have next gen console. But you don't buy next gen console to play the games available for it.

 

PS4 is cheaper and comes with more juices. This has been known for a long time. Cheaper and more powerful console vs more expensive, slower console. Suprisingly large minority rolls with latter. ;o  " All my friends bought Xbox" makes a valid, very  sensible reason. It also literally the only one I can think of.

 

During Xbox hype machine about a year back,their PR guys appeared like aliens from another planet.  "Guys hey guys!You can use your Xbox to watch tv and sports!" What in the name of living **** is this ****? How can this be a relevant, fun or exciting feature to anyone who cares enough of consoles to buy them somewhere around launch year. An extra goddamned box to worry about between you and tv. What...WHY? Srs.

 

I own both of the new consoles plus i still have my 360 and PS3, i don't really care which is cheaper or more powerful because i love playing games and each console has exclusives that i like so that is why i bought them!

 

i only wanted to know if dragon age inquisition was going to differ in resolution or frame rate so i can decide which console to buy it on.

Framerate. The resolution thing is such a non issue on anything but large tvs. That said I would expect that they'd have locked that sort of thing down by the end of the year.
