I decided I will buy the Deluxe edition upon seeing pictures of the bonus items: the weapons, the armor, the armored mount.
However, for the sake of everyone who's going to play a dual-wielding rogue, please include two identically-looking daggers into the Flames of the Inquisition weapons set! Pretty much as you guys did with the Rogues' items DLCs in DA2, for both the daggers and the axes.
I love wielding identically-looking daggers when playing as a rogue, and often it's not viable as high-level daggers are usually unique.

This is a really, really big pet peeve of mine. I have to have my rogue daggers look alike. It drove me half insane in DA:O/DA2.

I think they will be twins. They just put one up to show how they'd look.

Hm, I actually like my dual-wielding daggers to look different. Actually in Origins I like dual-wielding a longsword in one hand and a dagger in the other.

Then the game only comes with one and you have to eat your hat. Muwhahah!

Isn't flames of the Inqusition in all pre-orders? I though Deluxe edition was the other stuff, Unicorn and Halla.

Same here. I did not even feel like switching to archery due to the lack of suitable specialization (and the fact that there are already two potential archers in the party).

Assassin/shadow archers are pretty good... it's just the archery tree itself that sucks. Basically, a good archer was just an auto-attack, auto-crit machine.

I can deal with different-looking daggers. But I would really prefer not to.
I hope the crafting system allows us to customise the appearance of weapons too.

If you think that's bad, I prefer to use a Longsword/Dagger (or Longsword/Shortsword) combo as a rogue, and DA2 didn't let you do that whatsoever. I'm afraid DAI will continue with that trend.

Hate to necro a thread, but it's better than starting a new one on the same topic.
I'm playing through the game right now and it drives me INSANE that the duel-wielding rogue has only one Flames of Inquisition dagger. Sword and shield warriors get both a sword and a shield. Why isn't there a full set for the dagger-using rogue?
On top of that, you only get the weapon set for the class you've chosen. That is ridiculous. There are plenty of companions in the game that could benefit from these weapons. In DAII all DLC weapons could be given to your party members. Why the change?
This was supposed to be a bonus for pre-ordering the deluxe edition and, from where I'm sitting, it is not a sufficient enticement.

Later in the game, you get schematics for all of the Flames of Inquisition items. Even later, you get "Superior" versions of those same schematics. Make as many as you want!

Pretty sure they're still Inquisitor-only, though.

Posté 09 décembre 2014 - 12:23
The armor schematics are for your inquisitor only but the weapons don't seem to have that restriction.
#22
Posté 09 décembre 2014 - 12:33
At a point in the game you DO get the schematic for it so you CAN make 2 but that's not helpful for the beginning!

Given the Flames of the Inquisition gear looks horrible who really cares? Worst pre-order swag ever.

Actually, I kinda like the armor and the sword. Staff isn't too bad either. The daggers and bow are embarrassing though.

But... You were already enticed and made a pre-order.
