The allure of virginity in fiction perplexes my mind and I ascribe no importance to it at all. What I find far more perplexing is how someone will create dehydrated pizza before next year.

I read that post and I've always preferred Samara and I was disappointed because she wasn't a proper romance in ME2 or 3. I like her because she's like a female version of Dredd but more like a samurai. You just feel like you could sit down with her and talk about anything. EDI would of been interesting but you've got to let Jeff get some.

I honestly cared about the characters' personality more than I did their sexual history.

Garrus wasn't a virgin. He was just awkward. They had to give him that personality trait to make him vulnerable to be romanced. There's only so many emotions that can be conveyed by that face and those mandibles.

Tali makes the best case for being a virgin because of her inability to exit her suit and continue existence. However, I never once thought of that. What I found most endearing was how her innocence and naivete changed to her own code of ethics and convictions. Her entire back story is a coming-of-age tale in which you help her make sense of her life and she's grateful to you for it, so grateful that she would have your hellish demon spawn.

I was never thinking about anyone's virginity status, just what makes them awesome and desirable.

Thumbs up just for the avatar.

I'm a nerd but this really is a weird thing too talk about in retrospect. It makes us look werid and patheic and desperate for someone of the opposite sex to talk to us...

Perhaps what you're experiencing is the discomfort that many people feel discussing gender and sexuality in general. There's actually not much creepiness in this thread at all, and a lot of serious discussion about the ways certain characters are designed to appeal to different sorts of people. If you are saying gender and sexuality are not topics we should discuss in a story that features extensive world and character-building, then I don't agree. But more than disagreeing, it's an argument you are going to make in vain (see the DA boards over the past week or so), especially considering the increased focus on the portrayal of women in video games that has risen in the last few years.

Yep, when I go to equip FemShep, I tend to settle on the few chestpieces which don't scream "BOOBS!!1!" I installed a mesh mod to put Ashley back in a standard Alliance uniform, and another to put Miranda in something more incognito and... dignified... than the catsuit wedged halfway up her rectum. It'd be nice to see a shift away from that kind of thing in future titles.

Heck I'd just be happy with a decreased or varied boob size, but that's more of a Dragon Age problem I think.

Are you talking about Ashley's non-combat outfit? I think her blue armor is pretty awesome. Also agreed on Miranda, as I use her DLC pack black and gold suit.

Thats what I do as well with Miranda. As soon as I'm able I put her in the black and gold armor.

Nice pics, DS. I bought ME3 PC on release along with my N7 PS3 version but never got around to playing it. When I do I might hit you up for a mod list.

You know chances are you make more than three stops on the Citadel, right? What happened to the three date rule? Throw away the virginity crap. Hey, we're stopping at the Citadel, let's get some dinner while we're there. Hey, we're stopping at the Citadel, let's do some whatever there. Hey we're stopping at the Citadel blah blah blah. Then... want to go back to my cabin? Sure. Let's bang, okay? The galaxy is ending. The game takes place over about six months. Who cares about waiting to make sure the person is "the right one" or saving themselves for "the right one?" You could be dead in an hour. In fact, I'm pretty sure people aren't even concerned about the long term effects of smoking.

Writers, use your heads.

You're free to your opinion. I, respectfully, disagree.

Not everyone is going to take it just because it's thrown at them. Otherwise we'd all be Liaramancers in ME1, and Jackmancers in ME2.

This reminds me of a Cracked video I saw once.

I wonder how many male Wardens turned Morrigan down, though.

The whole bit where you (or Alistair/L******) die if you turn her down kind of throws a wrench in that comparison.

This should have been going on down in engineering between Gabby and Tali when Shepard walked in:

No thanks. Those kind of details were intentionally left to headcanon, hence the fade to black.

Shepard already comes off as a bit of a tool after the pre-Cronos Tali scene in ME3, thanks to autodialogue. We don't need more of that.

LI: [pours her heart out]
Shepard: "Thanks." *plods away*
Me: wtf?

Ae we talking about the same Judge here?

Okay, she may not do the Dredd face when she brings someone  to justice but she would kill you on the spot if you did something really bad. Judge, jury and executioner. Nothing like in the real world where you have to go through trials and that.
