The only character Conrad could be, is a vanilla human male soldier or engineer. I can´t imagine, that he has any biotic abilities or the skill to use a sniper rifle.
The weapon choice is more difficult IMO. I think of the Vindicator. The Acolyte is additionally allowed on Platinum for Phantoms only.
Yeah, I agree, definitely soldier. Maybe, he'll luck out and find a weapon lying around 
vindicator is boring and requires too much effort with all the button pressing

I would very much like to see a solo involving the phoenix characters, cabal and saboteur. The phoenix characters and cabal have only one solo and the saboteur has two (I am counting solos from weekly challenges, N7 challenges, weekly v2, compact, outlier, blackwatch etc etc).
Another reason is that the listed characters are some of my favorites that don't appear much in the thread.

well outlier doesnt have platinum so it has no practical use for me

I'll see what I can do.. the thing with Outliers is that I don't just want to open them to plat and have mission successful as the requirement. I'll think about what I can do.. They could potentially be ridiculously tough though if I translate the challenges as they are on gold to platinum and there are already few successful completions on gold!

most likely i will not be doing outlier on platinum, i have done the kits i will not get via n7 plat on my own and that is kinda my goal there, plat solo with every character.
so if you want to open them to plat just because of what i posted then don't bother. I'm not playing platinum without cyclonics anyway, even without fitness all the bullshit that can happen multiplies by a huge amount
and those random banshee sniper balls... no fitness kits suck

There are far more worse maps than giant imo. Glacier(when getting 5 devices in 5 games), Jade, Goddess, Hydra, Condor, London.
Besides, Reegar is the only weapon, which the Collectors deserve 
.
