Dunvi, calling Dunvi, come in.
You know Cyonan's done better than I...

I couldn't really beat Cyonan's time since I was on hacked together wifi setup with 3000 ping spikes...

and with that, I give you the 25 hour solo:

To my knowledge, that's the longest game ever.
The most difficult boss faced during that game was the EA server. It's a mystery as to how I managed to hold it off for an entire 25 hours.

Longest solo: my first successful Gold

Longest team game: this incredibly painful Gold carry when I was still pretty new to Gold and the Adept was a leecher who sat in the LZ spinning circles from the obvious rubberbands on his controller joysticks. He occasionally came to life in the later waves, but pretty much did nothing to help.

Back in the olden days, had some pug gold games that ran into the 40s. This was before gear and Platinum. Basically back when men were men and the Claymore was the most damaging gun.
Men are still men and Claymoar is still the best gun.
OT: my first gold solo took me 86 minutes, Rippaz/London, TSent with Indra IV (both piercing mods and cryo ammo IV) and a scorpion I (lol, dem phantoms). The next day I've learnt how to RC the claymoar and coincindentally read Cyonan's explanation of warp ammo mechanics, the seconds solo (rippaz london tsent with claymoar) took twice as less.

Man guys, remember that early early BSN thread where some team wandered FBW for a couple hours taking screenshots of all sorts of random details in the textures and backgrounds? Remember when we thought that was a long game?

Highest ever was my first platinum solo clocking in at 72 minutes. A whole lot of kiting on Giant whenever anything scary got close. Painful to go back and watch. Non solo is probably 35 minute Gold Reaper game where I finally died on purpose on wave 8 because it was the 4th straight wave I would've had to solo with the TSol and nothing but my Geth SMG. I very politely asked my PUGs to go back to silver and that was the last time I tried for the Geth SMG challenge without a viable solo backup weapon. Lesson learned.

My gohd, some of those times.
Me, my worst was multi hosts driving a game over an hour. And you know, at a certain point, I leave.
Really. Just go! Be free! ![]()

Nothing insane like 20+ hours but I had a game where the drone glitched through the map on Reactor once but the mission didn't fail even after the timer ran out - me and the host decided to just keep on killing stuff even after the other 2 players had left - just to see what would happen I think.
Eventually the game itself got bored and a little "Mission Complete" message came up and we were able to continue until extraction - I've no idea how long the game went on for exactly, 90+ minutes maybe? The scoreboard at the end was quite funny.

My first non-kroguardreegar gold solo took about 70-75 minutes... I think that was my longest game.

Excluding my first gold solo, a 41 minute gold "solo" on Vancouver when I'd literally started playing gold games. I clutched wave 4 which turned out to be a mistake. The PUGs didn't try after that, and bled out on waves 5, 7, 8, 9 and 10. They went to town with nukes and medigel on wave 11 though, obviously.

My first and last Platinum solo. 74 minutes and 16 seconds of "why am I putting myself through this?". The exhilaration at the end made the 74 minutes worthwhile but not enough to do it again. Yet.

I don't solo, so the longest game I've ever had was probably still less than 35 minutes.

I have to wonder what the hell the Soldier was doing if the AFK spinny guy nearly matched their score.

That actually sounds like great fun. The same thing happened to me once on London but the host left after just a couple of minutes of non-stop horde mode ![]()

My first couple of Gold solo's were around the 60 minute mark.
There have been a few around the 35 minute mark when currying a Gold PUG.
