No, ejaculation is a physiological response that can be triggered by physical stimulation, regardless of who is providing that stimulation. A gay qunari man could reproduce. Gay men have been reproducing with women for generations (think of the nobility, who also have pressure of "lineage" production). It's possible. It might not be preferable, but it's possible.

Maybe they had their eyes closed, imagining a man? Any gay people here that had straight sex to shed light on the thing? Because I know my body, and I wouldn't be able to do it physically.

Viagra and such stuff?

Viagra doesn't help one to ejaculate, only to get it up, you can rub it all you want, but pure physical stimulation isn't enough, you have to have a mental image in front of you or in your mind. Or atleast that's my experience.

Perhaps there is some type of potion that affects sexual arousal/desire & turn the homos into bisexuals?

Yeah, it's not preferable by any means.  And, to be fair, it's been about 15 years since I had to deal with it so I was a bit younger at the time, but I was closeted at the time and, well, sex was sex.  There is no reason why a qunari couldn't do it as well, especially if they view it as their duty.

The bottom line is that it's a physiological response.  Your brain can get in the way, but your body will ultimately do what it's designed to do, regardless of the person who is doing the stimulating.

And that has probably been one of the oddest posts that I've ever posted on BSN.

I hope devs will clafify this. Qunari will work wirth people that give a birth of an innecessary child bot same sex rlationships doesn't produce children so qunari society reaction is inclear. I think they are tolerate.

David mentioned it once in an interview as an example of same-sex content in their games. I believe the questioner had asked about presentations of same-sex couples outside of the party (as in, "just in the world") and he mentioned that they put in a subtle relationship between Seamus and that qunari.

Also, the Wiki page says other characters commented on it.

But it isn't actually confirmed that the two were in a relationship. All Gaider said was that they IMPLIED the sexuality of Saemus. Nothing about the actual relationship between Saemus and Ashaad.

It was a different interview, I believe. He was talking in person to a radio show or on a podcast, it wasn't the text that someone posted above.

And what possible reason would the devs have for implicating that relationship if they didn't intend for it to be real? That makes no sense.

Yeah and he listed some gay/bisexual people as couples and then for some reason just leaves Saemus on his own.  Why isn't the viscount's son listed as a couple like the others? Is that because Ashaad didn't return the feelings?

Also I find it unlikely they are couple because of what Mary Kirby said about Qunari and romance

You'll never see a Qunari romance because they don't have romance. Could you see a Tal'Vashoth romance? Who knows? Considering that they come from a culture that hasn't had romance in hundreds of years, what are the chances?

One of Seamus' lines about Ashaad was:

"We were both seeking something. That was enough."

It is the leader of the mercenaries that just killed Ashaad that implies it. That is the ONLY reference in th entire game towards Saemus' sexuality. It could have been done simply to mock and taunt him. There could be hundreds of reasons.

I wonder if Qunari Inquisitioner will be restricted from romances based on what that quote says? The wouldn't confirm or deny it on Twitter the other day. Hmm.

Some of Seamus' other lines are:

"There was much of Ashaad that I didn't understand, but it was so very worth trying."

"If I am lost to the Maker for refusing to hate someone, for finding beauty in the "other"...well, perhaps the Maker is the one who is not worthy of me."
