And the DLC (the 1-Day DLC, at any rate) isn't aimed at combating piracy anyway. The point of the free DLC is to discourage used game sales. Any other DLC that comes down the pipe *could* be pirated, I imagine. Or modded in to the game, as has happened to DA, but I'm not sure I consider that a encouragement to piracy. People that look at that as a valid excuse to steal were already going to steal anyway.

Pretty much what DarkSpiral said.

I don't think there's a good way of combating piracy. It should probably just be seen as something inevitable, like shrinkage in stores. It's better to ignore it outright rather than risk alienating the fanbase, i.e. the people who will buy your game. Most consumers probably don't know how/don't want to pirating on the consoles anyways.

Greed, selfishness and disregard for the time, money and effort it takes to make products promotes piracy.

People who say they pirate the game just for the DLC were really going to pirate anyway.

There's almost certainly going to be a way to pirate just the DLC and put it onto a legitimate copy of the game.

So if they make the DLC same sex oriented will it help curb butt pirates?

I don't think the OP's point about being short shrifted is wrong at all, though I bristle at any suggestion that it somehow promotes piracy. Honestly, this seems like the kind of thing he should be able to contact support about and there should be some way they can get him what is missing. Not a big deal, really. Just seems fair and I am sure Bioware wouldn't want any fan and purchaser of the game in any country to be unfairly left out of something just because of where they live (provided it has nothing to do with that country's laws etc).
