First of all, sorry for the long post and for any english errors, I'm from Brazil. But the next thoughts are complex a bit.
I wish to know what people think about some hints on the entire ME trilogy, that strongly suggests a sequel, not necessarily a prequel, inside the story, being EDI the main reason. Prequel is too obvious since the universe inside there is very large even for the devs. We're used to do this everytime a new GTA comes, since the third many years ago and so far, many hints were true.
That thing Gamble have said, he thinks it is a good a idea to preserve our save games and ME4 release date isn't far enough to any disbelief, as it was from ME1 to the 2nd. But his reply wasn't very sure about it, looks like it is just a simple possibility not a rule. On a PC it would be very simple for a gamer to import it all. Judging by my last post with the released pics with the staff working on it, I think we're about to have a sequel.
If Bioware even remember that, (haha to plot holes) the VI on Luna's mission was where she have ''born'' as a concept, ending with her being stolen after the mission by Cerberus and made only a couple of years later and then unshackled inside the normandy. On ME3 she isn't just self aware and limitations free but also, very inquisitive in a number of ways - from the first time she gets inside Dra Eva's body to the last mission on earth, we can say she is evolving in the entire trilogy being on the third of course, a master piece in any sci-fi to date. Sure it looks like they did her that way just for you to get tempted on choosing synthesis, or to make you feel bad if choosing destruction. So you may think it was just for the show, you're fighting many terrible A.Is but not her. Why is that exactly? Because of herself and you it seems. Now... that is too directly done by the devs... the player is forging her. For that reason she only does one thing: ask, ask and ask about life's paradigms and the like.
Looks to me that you're building a great new mind for the future, or depending of your answers - relationship with Joker included, a very reckless or hatred, confused mind. For a new game's future, even if there is no relation in the next plots that are coming, will they waste that oportunity again? Maybe, if they're that clever, ME might be the first game to carry on our actions through many eras on our real lifes. Instead of finishing it in like some other game and... if some publishers don't kill it first if not already. The problem is, how the hell a guy on X360 could ever bring his saves to a XOne without a program to do that for him? Could Ppl on consoles know how to do so, with a simple usb but isn't that a bit hard or boring for their consumers? Are they only interested in your money, would a console gamer need a always on feature to do it? Thoughts?
Thanks guys.

If there are import saves involved I will run for the hills.

The real obstacle is if the Next Mass Effect is even a sequel. Bioware has stated that the next game will not be known as Mass Effect 4 which indicates it may not carry directly from the Shepard Trilogy. There have been many rumours from a prequel, alternate timeline, the far distant future so events in the trilogy become more myth-like..... to many unknowns right now to really.

Mass Effect
I mean the Mass Relays are in the name and I think their concept in linking the galaxy is great. Without them its just standard FTL and another standard Sci-fi game.
I would hate for this game to become stagnant in a prequel or environment surrounding Shepard. Im optimistic something in the future will happen which keeps the core of what makes the game great.
