The most durable kit in your opinion

This one is a bit subjective regarding durability and even survivability, but what I mean is, what kit in your mind is the go-to kit to use if you wanna just withstand an onslaught of enemies? I'm talking scenarios where you find yourself getting stagger spammed by geth that trap you in a corner, or when there are scions spamming cluster grenades in your direction. What kit would you want to have to withstand all that?

I understand that the saying, "The best defense is a good offense" could apply here and that's fine. For me I'd probably pick either of the turians with stimpacks or possibly a novaguard/kroguard.

You?

Warlord with full defensive rage going, probably. As long as there's no long-range Scion, Ravager, or Prime spamming, he can tank a lot of CQC damage. Defensive rage & tech armor gives something like 80% DR.

As silly as it may sound- Volus Adept.

Edit: I misread the OP, I thought it asked for an objective answer. Personally, I'd want to have either a Turian sentinel or an AJA (preferably with cyclonics IV) if I find myself in the situations described in the OP. Both kits offer a nice combination of high shields, damage reduction and respectable offensive capabilities which makes them very good for surviving shifty situations.

A Rage induced Warlord on a ramp with an assistant Volus, while meleeing with a Brotarian Brofist in a Justicar Bubble.

You forgot the Juggernaut/Engineer's turret.

Procollector. Cyclonic IV with full defensive swarm and the rank 6 additional swarm, he can tank two direct banshee bolts on plat. The dot will leak into health but it's survivable. Not to mention he has the leap that the armiger turians have although I like his better only because of the wings. And bonus damage to collector/prothean weaponry.

How can you beat 100 medi-gels a game?

Or the juggy, no sync kills makes it the most durable...

I didn't mean the Juggernaut as the kit.  I meant his or the geth engineer's sheild-restoring turret to help out the Warlord.

TGI can stand in plain sight and pop stim packs. He wins the "Do nothing and still not die" award.

Batguard is invulnerable to damage when he does a heavy melee right after charging.

Novaguard has the easiest access to invulnerability frames.

Kroguard and Slayer can tank 95% of all damage similar to the Batguard (post charge, during melee).

Even platinum. You just need to host and know how to make him dance.

Out of durable kits that I actually enjoy playing, I'd say the Shaman is my go-to. He's strapped up with his wraith "old reliable", doesn't give a damn about anything, and smacks everything with big biotic booms. I can't even recall having a bad game with him.

AIU/Havor/TGI should be excluded- they basically have infinite ops packs, obviously they're going to be the "most durable". Outside of them, I'd vote for the Kroguard- a bazillion health/barriers, a ton of DR, and he can instantly replenish his barriers every 4 or 5 seconds.

how is it that no-one mentions cabal??  the ability to go through walls easy and invincibility frames with biotic focus is great.

Juggy by far. Huge shields, DR, two ways to refill shields and a way to block incoming fire.

I did that once with cabal. I teleported through a wall but magically teleported back to the original spot I was in, then a banshee telepoted right on top of me and I was sync killed... I never used her again after that.

He can get 140% DR without any outside help and become completely immune to damage other than sync kills.

I knew the DR is high but didn't realize it is as high as 140%.  Good thing my Brawler is already spec'd for 40% Blade Armor DR so no need to re-spec.
