Which is why it's so devastating when it happens. :3

Good riddance. I hope she goes away after I tell her to go away when I first meet her.

Yeah, Bioware completely changing her character would be devastating.
Really? That's your reasoning for this?
It involves Cassandra leaving you via ultimatum. Reason has never been here.

No, I dont see that at all. Morrigan and Isabella have no sense of loyalty due to their upbringing, Cassandra was born into royalty and battle hardened with a high status organization. If she respects you, she's going to stay loyal until you give her a reason to think otherwise

I don't want anyone to leave.
That I can't agree with. I wouldn't mind some polarizing and clashing and betrayal.
It makes the world go round.

I think even Cassandra will have a breaking point if you go too far off the reservation, but I don't see her being the betrayal of the game.
Besides, Anders was closer to that role than Isabela was.

Don't forget zevran will also betray and try to kill you in you bump into his former colleague if you're approval isn't high enough.
I always liked the way that was handled.
Without gifts (or Feastday DLC), it really put you in a bind. You had to really choose likeminded dialogue with him. If you're into really roleplaying a good hero type, he could easily betray you.

No, she just kills you in a cutscene.
Enjoy your non-standard game over and next time think twice about mouthing off to a woman with a sword at your throat.

I don't see that happening at all. If anything, Sera or Iron Bull might be more likely to do that. Sera because of her criminal background and Iron Bull because of his being a mercenary. It is completely likely that they are like Morrigan and Isabela in that they have no true concept of loyalty. * shrugs * I guess we'll know for sure when DA:I comes out, huh?

I don't think DA:I will be any different in this regard.
I'd like to get pulled into the Fade and see what a desire demon or pride demon might offer to cause the various companions to turn on me. Maybe Cassandra likes big boats and she cannot lie?

In previous games, almost all the companions had moments were they could betray/abandon you.
I don't think DA:I will be any different in this regard.
