I agree, I imagine Sera or Iron Bull would do that before Cassandra.

I think betraying the Chantry or being at odds about the purpose of the "Inquisition" will anger Cass greatly (I don't know.. I could imagine her having some ideals about it, since the spirit of the original Inquisition was to investigate magic and it's abuses).

 

Then again, it's not like you can spec Blood Mage in this game anyways.. so you're never going to be a malifcarum or anything like that.If you are going to be at odds, it still isn't going to be in the extreme. And glad I am for it. A blood mage inquisitor would be retarded.

I can't see Solas leaving us. I'm sure there will be an opportunity for all of them to leave at some point, but as a romantic interest, I don't see that falling into his plot.

I see her as the first one abandoning me as a mage. Let's just say, I won't be kind with the chantry and the templars :P

She's not unfriendly to mages as a concept. Ever watch DotS? Or played DA2, and listened to Varric's story.. he knew Cassandra was searching for Hawke (no matter the class or who they sided with) because she needed help.

 

It's not like she's Meredith. Unless you're just wanting to start fights and painting people one way. Then call her whatever you want, I guess.

If Cassandra leaves the party it won't be because of Isabela.

I say this because at the end of Dragon Age 2 Cassandra begins to respect the Champion and his/her companions (except may be, Anders) and realizes that causing the Mage Templar war was never their intention (again, I can't say this for Anders).

Isabela is clear that she wants nothing to do with Mages or Templars and just wants to get by. So I can't see why anyone will want to leave the party on her account.

Now if the Inquisitor is in  a romance with Cassandra and goes and has a one night stand with Isabela....

Oy vey.

 

The mage/templar war is peanuts. This game is about the Veil tearing.

 

Don't think it's going to be some complicated political war where you get to wipe out the Chantry. It'll be more like the Reapers, where Shepard had to work with anyone, just because the Reapers were worse. Haven't you played enough Bioware games by now? It's always Lord of the Rings and Sauron. Not Game of Thrones.
