Hopefully we can discuss this like mature adults, given the track record of this forum it is admittedly a futile task however I am at least naive enough to try, take a look at the werewolves from DAO and tell me what is wrong with this picture?

 

 

Ok now the giant/troll that is to introduced in DAI

 

 

As you can see both creatures are completely naked however neither have any junk, is Bioware so afraid of nudity that they must neuter every creature they put in their games? The games are market as mature so perhaps it is time they started treating their audience like mature adults, one would hope that anyone who buys the game legally is mature enough to be able to handle naked genitals without snickering like an immature school kid, even if you can't get genitals past the censors then at least give them a loincloth or something to make it at least look like they might have at least something there.

I always saw it as the fur was covering where the genitals were. I mean, in most animals the male genitals retract into the body when not in use anyway.

Besides, maybe when the game comes out, you can get some troll ball mods or whatnot.

I associate mature™ more with morality greyness, complex political situations and a rough but not emogrimdark setting...monster genitalia is not really on the list, if I'm honest

I can say as 32 year old woman, having to duck a massive troll dong would not make me feel mature. Honestly, it'd be the opposite. Pixelated junk is not a mark of maturity.

I honestly dislike too much genitals on my screen lol,had enough of those from The Witcher and F.3.A.R.

Unless they add it as some optional feature,"toggle genitals"? lol or optional patch like in The Witcher.

I thought of at least five horrible jokes about what fully animated genitals "would bring to the table."  And, as I was typing, I thought of a few more.

I will agree that nudity for the sake of nudity is not mature, however I equate mature content as the developers being able to display things in a realistic and believable manner, to be able to trust their audience to take things at the value at which they are intended, chopping off the trolls balls because they don't think their audience is able to take it at face value is not what I consider mature.

I'm not sure loading up every creature in the game with visible genitalia just to have it is something that appeals to a lot of mature gamers.

I always thought that the Werewolves had their junk inside of them and as for the giant... how do you know that's not a female? 

 

EDIT: if you really want some swinging genitalia on your beasties, maybe you can find a modder willing to help you out..

It's not necessary. It does not add anything to the game if you can see the penis of a troll/werewolf/other beastie.

This is not about wanting to see genitals, this is about portraying creatures in a believable and realistic manner. If the devs don't trust their audience to view naked genitals as mature adults then they should at least give them a loincloth or something rather than turning them into ken dolls.

so again I say that the giants and werewolves, like real wolves, simply have genitalia that retract into the body.
