To add some realism, dragons should drop massive heaps of guano at random while we fight it, and if we happen to be underneath when it happens, well, massive penalty on health points.
If you wanted to, "add some realism" you have to take away a dragon's ability to fly. A creature that massive would require a much larger wingspan than is depicted and even then it would only be capable of gliding, because powered flight would require burning more calories than it could realistically consume.

This is not about wanting to see genitals, this is about portraying creatures in a believable and realistic manner. If the devs don't trust their audience to view naked genitals as mature adults then they should at least give them a loincloth or something rather than turning them into ken dolls.
Its a waste of time, 95% of players dont care about video game genitalia being portrayed. Save the time for something else. It doesnt effect the plot or gameplay and if it really stops your ability to immerse youself into the game then you might have issues

The mark of a good artist is their attention to detail and it is the little things that really bring a work of art to life, while I am sure there is plenty the Dragon Age games can omit and still be a functional game it is attention to detail that can turn a mediocre game in to a truly great one.

Video game genitalia is not going to be the determining factor that turns a mediocre game into a great one.

yeah it does, if the gatherers in Amnesia didn't have visible penises, I wouldn't have felt like they were real and wouldn't have been scared.

Game penis' are ugly and also hilarious. I for one, don't want to be seeing them all over the place and collapsing into a fit of giggles every time a dragon flies over head. I have a hard enough time listening to dramatic romance dialogue let alone seeing actual bits of people.
Yes, I am technically an adult.
What's nice.

Mod the game if you want trolls and werewolves to have big schlongs @OP. Even the female ones.

I can say as 32 year old woman, having to duck a massive troll dong would not make me feel mature. Honestly, it'd be the opposite. Pixelated junk is not a mark of maturity.
*called shot*
I always saw it as the fur was covering where the genitals were. I mean, in most animals the male genitals retract into the body when not in use anyway.
I don't believe that's true for any canids or primates though, which would make it a questionable feature on werewolves.

I was hoping this would be about Bioware's weird hands, odd shoulders, and bending giraffe necks. Perhaps it's better if they focus on getting those right before accepting the challenge of troll penis.

Only female dragons have wings and can fly. Unless they're like hyenas (which I doubt) the chances of seeing external genitalia on a dragon flying overhead are zero
.
If they're like lizards, the males probably have retractable junk anyway.

Werewolves, dogs, other creatures in Dragon Age games that clearly are not wearing any form of clothing are the only things with 'inaccurate' anatomy.
I draw quite a lot, and anything in Dragon Age makes for terrible reference. They are not modeled after realism. They use realism as a reference just as manga uses very slim and/or curvy people as reference. Humans in Dragon Age Origins do not look very human as they are, more or less, modeled to be dolls and not actual functioning accurate anatomical humans.
Not to mention that people in the medieval times are quite shorter than humans today, but somehow are still quite tall.
