Werewolves, dogs, other creatures in Dragon Age games that clearly are not wearing any form of clothing are the only things with 'inaccurate' anatomy.
I draw quite a lot, and anything in Dragon Age makes for terrible reference. They are not modeled after realism. They use realism as a reference just as manga uses very slim and/or curvy people as reference. Humans in Dragon Age Origins do not look very human as they are, more or less, modeled to be dolls and not actual functioning accurate anatomical humans.
Not to mention that people in the medieval times are quite shorter than humans today, but somehow are still quite tall.
Actually height in the medieval era was not drastically different, on average they were about two inches shorter and this is only due to diet as nobility was about our height, generally.
