My mind is pretty open right now, and I am hoping my mind will be swayed many times, but I am sorta leaning towards...

Mages:School but freedom.
Templars: reign them in and if possible try to redefine purpose
Seekers: leave them be
The Chantry: set boundaries, they cant do whatever they like
Orlesian Loyalist (Celene's Faction)- for
Orlesian Patriots (Gaspard's Faction) against
Elven Rebels-Absolute freedom
Dalish Elves-give them back arlathan
Grey Wardens- Set boundaries, they cant do whatever they want.
Tevinter-clean house
Qunari- keep back, wary alliance
Fereldan- whats wrong now?
Antivan Crow's-if you cause trouble you die

Mages - integrate into the circle System again
Templars - reunite with the chantry, reform the order, take care of the circles again
Seekers - more power to them, especially their control-function over the templars should be taken more seriously
The Chantry - restore to its former power and influence
Orlesian Loyalist (Celene's Faction) - no idea, don't know their goals yet
Orlesian Patriots (Gaspard's Faction) - no idea, don't know their goals yet
Elven Rebels - no stong feelings on this one, I'll wait and see
Dalish Elves - if they leave me and my allied factions alone, I'll leave them alone
Grey Wardens - I Need to see what they're up to first

Tevinter - oppose, I can't stand blood mages
Qunari - aid against Tevinter if possible, I think the Qun is an interesting philosophy and we should learn more about it
Fereldan - indifferent, I don't like the Country much, but I wouldn't want to oppose it
Antivan Crow's - depends on their actions, I have a feeling I won't like them much

Mages: after the war is won execute all the insurgent mages. Innocent mages, and those who helped to defeat the rebellion will granted a new, better life in a new more professional and less restrictive, larger circle which is built on a large island away from the mainland and major cities.

Templars: police force for the circle

Seekers - give them more power and budget so they're more independent, specialize them on neutralizing threats to the worlds fragile balance. Basically making them impartial agents of neutrality.

The Chantry - restore order but reduce its military power down to a level where they can defend themselves but cannot start wars or exalted marches

Elven Rebels - Defeat them, those who surrender have to join the grey wardens

Dalish Elves - Leave them be unless they're taking sides in the war

Grey Wardens - leave them be unless they're taking sides in the war

Qunari - liberate the mainland from the Qunari to stop other races bolstering their ranks and their influence.

Prepare for an invasion. Also try to infiltrate the Qun to get their gunpowder recipe.

Tevinter - try to convince them not interfere in the mages uprising but instead prepare for an invasion of the Qunari islands because the Qunari threat needs to be stopped once and for all. They'll surely like that idea.

Ferelden - if they don't oppose my ideas, leave them be

Antivan Crow's - leave them be

Mages: brought into tevinters way of thinking
Templars: defeated, forced to confess to consorting with demons and secretly plotting to take over the world, then swiftly executed learning templar talents to be considered heresy. Mundane's banned from possessing lyrium
Seekers: swift death, history's abolished replaced with doctrines that show they were evil blood mages lead by abominations
[/B]The Chantry:[/B] converted to the black, white devines declared as heretics.
Orlesian Loyalist (Celene's Faction): death
Orlesian Patriots (Gaspard's Faction): death
Elven Rebels: suppressed returned to slavery
Dalish Elves: complete annihilation bodies staked long the imperial highway all the way to Minrathous (teach elves not to rebel)
Grey Wardens: gutted, doctrines changed to reflect Wardens are loyal to tevinter, then rebuilt.

Tevinter: imperium rebuilt
Qunari: Qun wiped out, all Qunari people to be made slaves to Qunari mages as punishment for crimes against tevinter which has always ruled rightfully and mercifully.
Fereldan: raised to the ground, all nobles slaughtered and weapons made illegal to carry. Mages loyal tevinter given land rights
Antivan Crow's: dead, they serve no purpose in tevinter.

-Mages: Free and establish a schooling system run by wiser mages. Mages have to join a sort of "Mage Guild" otherwise they're apostate

-Templars: Dissolve completely; replace with a new non-chantry affiliated group to act as mage police

-Seekers: I don't see a purpose for them after the Inquisition's task is complete. If they refuse to give up their power, I will forcibly remove it

-Chantry: Remove all political power

-Loyalists: Time will tell

-Patriots: Time will tell

-Elven Rebels: Assuming their sole purpose is to free the elves from the city alienages, I will support them. If instead they'd rather kill innocents, I will not support them

-Dalish Elves: Fight to preserve their ways; every people deserves to keep their culture

-Grey Wardens: Find out what their beef is with the Inquisition and try to come up with a compromise. I will fight them if I have to, but I'll make sure I'll keep enough of them alive to build them up again post-conflict. After all, we're in for 2 more blights, and Thedas will need them

-Tevinter: Remove the magisters from power and free the slaves

-Qunari: Send them back to whence they came. I will act against them when I can

-Fereldan: Support if their cause is just. If it's just senseless war against Orlais, I'll have no part in it. But with Allistair as king (unless someone dethrones him) I'll likely be supporting Fereldan

-Antivan Crows: Hunt down and eradicated

we would have to have someone limit the lyrium trade though, thats the only thing that kept the chantry over the templars in the first place... so if we disband the templars and turn them into a police force, not an occupational force then they would need to be supplied by lyrium, which i think needs to be taken out of the chantry's hands...  maybe have the templar police forces directly under the nation's leader and not the chantry... and the nation itself deals with the trade not the chantry

First Playthrough:

Mages - Rebuild the Circles under stricter control with remaining loyalist mages.  Leaders of the rebellion made Tranquil if possible, executed if not.  The rest of the Rebellion Annulled or made Tranquil.

Templars - Reformed and returned to Chantry as overseers, leaders  and administrators of the Circle system.

Red Templars - Destroyed like rabid animals.

Seekers - Reformed and refocused to actually perform their duties as Templar oversight.

The Chantry - Reformed and strengthened throughout Thedas.

Orlesian Loyalist (Celene's Faction) - Marriage to Gaspard if possible, defeat and surrender if not.

Orlesian Patriots (Gaspard's Faction) - Marriage to Celene if possible, aided in quest for control over Orlais if not.

Elven Rebels - Defeated and returned to the Alienages.  Leadership executed for Treason.

Dalish Elves - If they are a hindrance, then defeated and relocated to the Alienages where they should have been all along.  If genuinely helpful then perhaps some effort could be made towards finding them a plot of land somewhere remote.

Grey Wardens - Left to their own devices unless they are a direct threat to my Inquisition's goals.  Their mandate to protect the world from Darkspawn buys them a lot of leeway.

I'll throw in these as well, but we don't know of any conflict happening with them:

Tevinter - Outside the scope or concern of the Inquisition.

Qunari - Outside the scope or concern of the Inquisition.

Fereldan - Inclined to leave them alone.  I know we'll be going there at least for a short time, but unless they interfere I don't see much point in stirring their pot.  They may need some new royalty if Alistair says one word about swooping, however.

Antivan Crow's - Outside the scope or concern of the Inquisition.

Subsequent playthroughs:

Various.

Mages - Back to Hogwarts

Templars - More Morse, less Force

Seekers - Don't they work for me? Paid Vacation after it's over

The Chantry - Feel free to believe what you like, but God's have no place in politics

Orlesian Loyalist (Celene's Faction) - Alistair needs a wife, I kinda nicked his throne and made him have a baby with Morrigan, dude deserve some perks.

Orlesian Patriots (Gaspard's Faction) - *Throws down gauntlet* Swords at dawn

Elven Rebels - Rebel implies trouble. I guarentee I'm going to be more trouble. Otherwise elven emancipation.

Dalish Elves - Give them some herbs, who needs to make health politices, they are literally everywhere.

Grey Wardens - I might be an Inquisitor, but that dude on the Throne of Ferelden would mess me up proper.

Tevinter - Hogworts or Quntown.

Qunari - Depends how Tevinter play it out.

Fereldan - It's Britain...build large Navy, take over world. Isn't Orlais france? Help to conquor it, install Alistair as a puppet. See grey wardens.

Antivan Crow's - Pay A bird in hand (with a knife) is worth two in the bushes (with knives).

It ultimately depends on the character I'm role-playing, but if they share my beliefs, it would look something like...

Mages: back to jointly-led Circle, further concessions negotiable.

Templars: reinstated.

Seekers: unknown, need more information.

The Chantry: de-monopolize lyrium trade.

Orlesian Loyalist/Celene: unknown, need more info/context.

Orlesian Patriots/Gaspard: unknown, need more info/context.

Elven Rebels: unknown, need context.

Dalish Elves: unknown, need context.

Grey Wardens: leak secrets, disband.

Tevinter: unknown, need context.

Qunari: *create schism and update/reform.

Fereldan: unknown, need context.

Antivan Crows: ignore.

*With the Qunari, I like/agree with their principles, just disagree with how they're put into practice. 'Strongly believe in not wasting resources, especially human ones, but would argue that their handling of magic/mages is wasteful. Agree with equality, but think that's violated by hunting down defectors (Tal Vashoth) and forcible conversion. Agree with breeding, disagree with forced relationships/family. So my solution is to come up with an updated/reformed version of their belief-system, create schism therein, and let the better men win.

This is outcome I'd like to have for different groups and areas ^^ In the game I'd like ally myself with more neutral templars and mages, also elven rebels and dalish more likely.

Mages -> Schooling system.

Templars -> Guards and police force to mages.

The Chantry -> Seperate religion from state.

Elven rebels -> Help them, equal rights for Elves.

Dalish Elves -> Let them be.

Grey Wardens -> Let them be.

Tevinter -> Destroy the current system.

Qunari -> Exterminate Qun.

Fereldan -> Alliance.

Antivan Crow's -> Let them be.

You beat me to this, but yeah pretty much this.

Mages- Execute the radicals, blood mages, etc. Return to a more balanced Circle. Reward loyal and reasonable mages. The Circle has greater autonomy, but not independence. Work with the Chantry, the Templars, and Inquisition for pragmatic reform.

Templars- Return to Chantry oversight; Police the Mages inside the Circle. Work with the Chantry, Mages, and Inquisition for pragmatic reform.

Red Templars- Executed. Red lyrium is deemed an unacceptable substance and all deposits are destroyed if possible. If not, the tunnels leading to them are collapsed.

Seekers- Return to their duties overseeing the Templars. They must do their duty to ferret out corruption in the Circle, Templars, and Chantry.

The Chantry- Continue Justinia's reforms to a pragmatic extent with the common people in mind. Restore their power and prestige. Limit Exalted Marches to grave threats to Thedas. Lyrium remains a controlled substance, but the Inquisition oversees the lyrium trade instead in exchange for a tithe to help support the Chantry and Circle. Have them ready at a moment's notice to call an Exalted March should the balance of power shift between the Qunari and Tevinter to the extent one becomes a threat to Thedas. The Canticle of Shartan is restored in exchange for Dalish acknowledgement of their ancestors starting the Human-Elf war in the Glory Age. The Chantry apologizes for mistakes made in the past as the Dalish apologize for their own.

Orlesian Loyalist- Celene marries Gaspard if possible; undecided between the two of them, but leaning towards Gaspard at the moment. Concerns about Ferelden might influence me the other way.

Orlesian Patriots- See above.

Elven Rebels- Negotiated surrender; elves receive better conditions and clemency in exchange for their surrender and submission to the rule of law.

Dalish Elves- It depends on how they act.; reward the clans who help, punish the clans who cause trouble, and leave the clans who do nothing alone. If they are given their own land, they must acknowledge their part in starting the war in the Glory Age in exchange for normalized diplomatic relations with neighboring nations.

Grey Wardens- Leave them alone unless they are a threat. Clean house if they are.

Tevinter- Maintain an equilibrium between them and the Qunari; do not let them get the upper hand.

Qunari- Maintain an equilibrium between them and Tevinter; do not let them get the upper hand.

Fereldan- Ensure peace between Ferelden and Orlais.

Antivan Crow's- Use them for the Inquisition's own purposes.

Mages - Imprison or vanquish

Templars - Vindicate and Uplift

Chantry - Establish as the only power in Thedas

Qunari - Lend aid against Magisters

Tevinter - Send to Belize

Elves - Cut off their ears and feed them to our Mabari

Red Templars - Establish as Thedas' premier fighting force

.

Ideally I'd have them all ally with and serve troops to the Inquisition, but seeing as how presumably some may be exclusive I'll make a game-time decision. The only clearly exclusive faction I can think of right now may be templars vs. mages, in which case I'd favour mages.

Considering the fact that I doing the mage-templar war will end in DAI, I hope there's the choice of leading/forcing mages and templars into an armistice and recruit them to our cause.

Depends on my playthrough and what kind of character I'm going for.

Canon/Main 1 (Ultimate Sacrifice Warden/Pro Templar Hawke, 'pro-Chantry'):

Mages- restore the Circle or implement a new form of governance

Templars- support, hopefully moderately. Won't encourage them to kill all mages or go Meredith style, but will keep the Order

Seekers- not enough known to take a stance on them honestly

The Chantry- support. They keep order even if some don't like it

Orlesian Loyalist- don't support, ideally have Celene marry Gaspard if it is at all possible, otherwise kill Celene

Orlesian Patriots- support, Gaspard has military prowess which Orlais needs

Elven Rebels- support or have them form an alliance with the Patriots/have them integrated better into Orlais/human culture and lessen the discrimination that goes on

Dalish Elves- if they're anything like DA2's Dalish, squash time

Grey Wardens- support unless they have some demonic stuff going on

Main 2 (Amell Mage/Pro-Mage Hawke):

Mages- Complete freedom

Templars- Bye Bye

Seekers- Who Cares

The Chantry- Either changed into Tevinter's hands to the Black Divine or shut down

Orlesian Loyalist- Only if Celene engages in the dark arts with Morrigan pulling the strings behind the politics

Orlesian Patriots- Crush or subjugate

Elven Rebels- Crush or subjugate

Dalish Elves- Unless they got some good magic and secrets to offer, bye bye

Grey Wardens- support

Templars - ^^
Seekers - I'm romancing Cassandra, so I'll help them.

Grey Wardens - Don't care.
Tevinter - Don't care.
Qunari - They can stay out of the way or die.
Fereldan - Don't care.
