How the hell does it take over 1000 hours to max your manifest? o.O Congrats, but... yeesh.

We're not all on lolpeesea.

I played silver regularly up until around 450 hrs, that's when I went to an all-gold diet, and didn't venture into platinum regularly until probably 550-600 hrs.

I did! I did a lot of speedruns! Finn, Pint, and Pearl were there for most if not all of them. RNG is a cruel mistress, is all, Dunvi.

I have heard Dunvi knows a thing or two about being a cruel mistress. Sometimes the cruel things in life are worth suffering through.

I actually thought the dungeon had been shut down. Instead Dunvi is focusing efforts on a promising software engineer career? From past technical comments, looks like Dunvi certainly has the skillz for it. I suppose if Dunvi fails at that, got something else to fall back on to.

OT: Congrats on maxing OP. My hours would have looked like your by the time I maxed had I not started speedrunning at around 500-600 hours played.

I maxed mine at about 780, but with a lot of help from this fella and other really cool mofo's...

It is odd that everyone seems to be maxing their manifest around the same time. 

 

Ahem, not everyone. But those of us who haven't maxed their manifests tend not to post about it.

 

Maybe I should start a thread? Something like this:

 

"Still haven't maxed my manifest. Thought you might like to know."

 

That said, congrats to those who have. May you greatly enjoy all your level X stuff, you bastards.

eHarmony can suck it. You sir may have given this place a whole new purpose. If OP says yes, then congrats! Only problem is, Clips now has a maxed manifest...who needs a ring when you got lvl X URs. It's gonna be hard to top that.

 

And congrats OP! At 1800hrs....damn (crazy enough though, I've seen some players that played over 2000hrs and still haven't maxed their manifests). I admire your patience   Welcome to the elite club where all we do is run around and wave our maxed UR weapons at pugs' faces and waste consumables carelessly

I'd be willing to bet that over 1000 hours to max is the norm rather than the exception.

Thanks for the kind words people...  ...i've never done any speed runs and it's true that i stayed a silver fiend for a looong time before manning up to gold ( i used to be terrified of gold) and as far as Plat games go, it's hard for me to pug those. I like to play those with friends only or only if i feel the lobby is capable.

Aww yeaaahhh. Swarmers coming at you? tech armour missle launcher. Teammate in the process of reviving you? You're doing it wrong. You should have gelled before you hit the ground. Lancer overheated? pop in a thermal clip pack...who cares if it doesn't do anything...you got swag a Lancer X 

 

Both you and Tigger are right about this, it's so liberating not having to worry about using consumables because that diverts credits away from the packs that might contain ultra rares to those that don't e.g. jumbo packs to restock consumables.
