I'm really hoping we get to dance in Orlais. I got so excited when I saw the ballroom scene in the trailer. I'm looking forward to it being a romance event for certain companions, or a chance to spread diplomacy by taking faction leaders out onto the dance floor where you can talk without interruption or anyone overhearing. Are characters with low dexterity going to be bad dancers? Probably not, but it would be funny. I can see these sorts of events being amazing, and I really hope we're not just watching from the sidelines while we break into one of the empty rooms in that castle or something.

anyway, i wouldnt mind it as a romance element... as for the political side, i believe that is the intent to begin with, the romance option would just be a nice bonus

If there is a scene where we get to dance, i hope we're given the choice of which companion we want to be our dance partner, each one being better or worse than the other and each one having different things to say. Maybe even their outfits reflecting their characters

One of the interviews said there is a big diplomatic/behind the scenes political event in the game that depending on how you play it can be very bloody or not so bloody. I am guessing the orlesian ball is said event but I could be mistaken.

Yes! *Jumps up and down* I can't tell you how happy I'll be if this is an actual thing we can do in the game! Perhaps we need to stop an assassination from happening during the party. Maybe we get to do the assassinating Maybe it's a political event that affects what happens later depending on who you talk to. Maybe it's just a fun side mission for the Inquisitor. There's just so much they could do with this! The option to dance is a must though, you should be able to drag your LI to the dance floor for a romantic scene
