Ok so I am going to run through a quick Mass Effect game so I have a Male Separd save with the council still alive.  But I can not decide who I should romance?  Liara or Ashley...  I end up chatting both up since I like them both.  So who do you thik I should choose?

Also besides major ones and party member side quests what side missions do we know for a fact will carry over?

I would go with Liara. Tho' I romanced both.



Quests that are known to carry over are the 1 with Conrad verner in the citadel, The 1 where you either let the Alliance run tests on Nirhali Batia or release hr body to samesh, Whether you kill or let the Rachni Queen live. If you kill Wrex on virmire (but why would you want to kill him he's awesome) if you let the council live or die I think those are about all the major decisions

Liara seems more likely to be a squad member in ME3, though there's no way of being sure.



I would have one save (you may) with no romance, so you can take your decisions into ME2, and still romance without cheating. (In fact, I just finished a maleshep run today with no romance, because I'm positive I want to romance Miranda or SuZe, but I also refuse to cheat on Liara.)

Hmmm I've yet to do a maleshep run... but I'm going for Ash, since I did Liara in another run

You could romance neither. Though, when I run a male shep, I "romance" Ashley usually.
As for side missions, there is a list and link to source on the mass effect wiki, I don't feel like looking it up atm.

i did Ash the first time but i gotta say i really dont like her hair u_u go for Liara that have no hair at all!
