I just love the whole "dashing cavalier" vibe in the top picture. ::swoons:: And since I tend to play chaotic good or chaotic neutral characters, option A all the way!

Me too! :D

I think that hat suits her very well. It looked more questionable on the male Inquisitor I think...

The only problem with that hat is it calls for a musket to go with it, not a bow. And it is a very nice hat, and surely justifies introducing firearms.

You mean like a dictatorship or something along those lines?

A mixture of A and B, leaning towards B.

And hats, my Inquistor needs no hats!

Eh change isnt really associated with dictatorship, im thinking order in the form of discipline/ functionality, and power in the sense that i need power to have any influence in the world whether it be good or bad.

Though i am tempted to name myself king of thedas since we get a crown and throne

It did look Musketeerish to me, too; perhaps a rapier?  I tend towards dashing derring-do on my first playthrough.

I like that you can see her hair under it; it's a small thing, I know, but most of the helmets thus far have hidden hair away.  Yay for the new engine, I suppose ...

I'm hoping to establish a Turian-style meritocracy. The higher the rank, the fancier the hat.

But all the institutions we have in Thedas right now suck. They are Lawful Evil at best.

Lawful Neutral characters aren't really concerned so much with whether or not laws are just.

Those of this alignment view regulation as all-important, taking a middle ground betwixt evil and good. This is because the ultimate harmony of the world--and the whole universe--is considered by lawful neutral creatures to have its sole hope rest upon law and order. Evil or good are immaterial beside the determined purpose of bringing all to predictability and regulation. It is the view of this alignment that law and order give purpose and meaning to everything. Without regimentation and strict definition, there would be no purpose in the cosmos. Therefore, whether a law is good or evil is of no import as long as it brings order and meaning.

Lawful neutral beings believe in a strong, well-ordered government, whether that government is a tyranny or benevolent democracy. The benefits of organization and regimentation outweigh any moral questions raised by their actions. Lawful neutral beings will uphold the law regardless of whether it is considered just or not. If the majority of the population disagrees with the practices of the government, then they must use legal means of getting those laws changed. Rebellion is a crime regardless of the purpose behind revolt. In their day-to-day affairs, lawful neutrals will adhere to the laws of the area they are in, and will also maintain their own sense of honor.

They are respectful to both their leaders and their peers. Subordinates will be treated as is due their station within society. Written contracts and verbal agreements will be honored by these characters. They will not break their word or a contract unless there is a legal way to do so. Lawful neutral beings are concerned with the letter of the law, but rarely the spirit. These characters also respect the idea of station in life. They will act as they should, given their station.

A Lawful Neutral Inquisitor might for example disagree with a law that forces elves into poverty and alienages (arguably an evil law), but if those elves rebelled the Lawful Neutral character would crush the rebellion all the same.

I was thinking more along the lines of, to change something with power and order, you would have to force the issue and maintain some kind of system, that is close to the original. Because a change of ideals without some opposition is not really that realistic and that generate chaos, even if you contained it.

I am actually really curious about the Inquisitor power reach. It would be cool if you can name yourself Queen or King, by supporting the old system with peace or choose to have a democracy but at the cost of violence and destruction, aka all your companion die in the process lmao.

True but my argument is in a world where chaos is literally erupting on every inch of the land, they're going to have to deal with my new way of dealing with things so these issues (MvT, Red templars, Civil war) dont occur again. I'll have the power and influence to achieve this order with discipline keeping everything intact, it wont be liked by all but it will function.

Thats a good question, being inquisitor is a big deal and with all the establishments in a vulnerable state, it wouldnt be far fetched to be able to just swoop in and take charge claiming "its for their own good".

If we get rapiers I'd have no choice but to recreate my D&D character in Inquisition.

(Though hopefully the Inquisitor would be less squishy. :P )
